There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids--the pull out couches were terrific, beds all comfortable. All the rooms were spacious (so rare in NYC), clean, AND a full eat-in kitchen made possible nice family meals. Beautifully decorated. Susan was a solicitous and caring hostess. She really wanted to make our stay great and it was. 2nd floor made it easy to either take the elevator or the stairs. Doorman made us feel secure. Close to Central Park, Museum of Natural History, Zabar's, Riverside Dr.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I'm a native NYer but haven't lived in the city in years, so I love to bring my two young kids back to show them around. I've stayed in other apartments thru VRBO before but so far this is the best one. The apt is huge by NYC standards (esp the kitchen), and the location is convenient both for the immediate neighborhood and to get around the city. The owners were extremely nice and helpful, and our stay went off without a hitch. There is some noise from the street, but to me that's part of city living. I recommend it highly and will stay there again on my next visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children.
