This Studio is a treasure! Great location - we walked and cycled to Canyon Road and to the downtown area; and cycled to Museum Hill and RailYard neighbourhood. The studio offers easy access to Santa Fe sites, yet is nestled in a quiet, rural setting. Tushita has designed a comfortable, highly functional space for relaxing. We were very appreciative of Tushita's organization during the booking process, contact prior to our stay, and for a great orientation to Santa Fe on arrival. We will definitely return when in Santa Fe.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed at the studio for a week and it was wonderful and as great as the pictures and descriptions reflect. We did many outdoor activities throughout New Mexico and it was so nice to be able to come back to such a relaxing environment. Tushita, you did a wonderful job on the design and decorations to make this place such a great place for visitors. Thanks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Close enough to walk into town and far enough away to feel mountain presence all around, this elegant studio is a mini-architectural wonder with its elegance and design simplicity. Every tasteful amenity is included, like the organic coffee, fresh flowers, and an array of nature-friendly products you may have forgotten. Waking up each morning in cool crisp air, your stay here will be everything you'd hoped it to be, and then some! The walking, in any direction, offers plenty of variety. I walked into the town square one day, the Canyon Road tour of galleries and restaurants another, and the rest of the time, content with the short hikes on dirt roads taking me higher into the hills. The owner is attentive and personable. I feel like I found a unique opportunity at Upper Canyon, because it offers the best of in-town and out-of-town ambiance.Did you find this review helpful? I cannot say enough good things about the studio. My fiancee and I are pretty picky travelers, and the accommodations surpassed our highest expectations. It is a beautiful studio--just like the photos, but even better. The location is perfect - a short walk from the Plaza. And the owner is incredibly thoughtful. We'll be staying again...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed for three nights in the UCS, and we loved it! The owner was very accommodating, she took the time to greet us personally, gave us great tips for Santa Fe, provided us with cold water and tea... The Studio itself was spotless, wonderful, a very calming place very quiet but close to downtown. The listing photos are accurately reflect the rental's appearance We loved it and totally recommend it!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Adding my compliments and recommendation to this wonderful studio. Everyone has spoken so highly of this property and I completely agree with all that's written here. The hummingbirds were the most noisy things every morning but what a wonderful way to begin each day of my brief visit. Bravo Tushita for designing and creating such an outstanding place and your willingness to share with others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We just spent 4 wonderful days at Tushita's upper canyon road studio. It had everything you look for in a space for a long weekend - ample, well designed space for two, excellent location and a knowledgable host. We are already planning a return visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Studio. The place is stunning and peaceful. We especially loved the sliding glass doors and the picture window's view of a beautiful Santa Fe valley. The heated floors were an added and enjoyable luxury. The bed and small sofa were comfortable. We did not try any of the electronic equipment, such as the television, because it was just so nice to be in such a serene place. The patio was lovely, although we did not use it because on the days of our visit there was a dusting of snow. Tushita, the owner, was very helpful! She was available to answer our questions, but was really non-intrusive. We especially loved her local restaurant recommendations.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

I sit on the sofa of the Upper Canyon Studio (UCS) as I write this review...sad that it is our last day here. The studio is tucked away just above downtown...about a 2 - 3 minute pleasant drive. We never had a problem finding parking in town. UCS is a lovely retreat after a day of shops, museums, galleries & tourists. After hitting the Farmer's Market & Whole Foods, I prepared a birthday dinner for my partner. I found the kitchen to be nicely equipped and comfortable. We dined on the patio by the fire of the chiminea. <sigh>...so nice! The architecture & furnishings are comfortable and fashionable. We felt as if we had come to a vacation studio we might have designed. The bed is comfortable, the sunrises are beautiful and the hospitality is flawless. The owner, Tushita, was helpful when we had questions...otherwise, we wouldn't have known she was next door. UCS is undoubtedly our new Santa Fe tradition.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time in Santa Fe and found this studio apt. both comfortable and user friendly for a week's stay. While the owner lives next door, she is unintrusive, though quickly responsive if you need her. The studio is private and quiet, close enough to Canyon Road and the Plaza to drive there easily, but just far away enough from the hustle and bustle. Very well equipped kitchen and bath. We had been to Santa Fe several times before but found the studio a well-priced home-away-from home. Much better priced than a hotel. We would definitely recommend it to others who want to cook breakfast for themselves, and keep lunch fixings handy, as we did. Comfy bed!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
