My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 3 year old. Nice, quiet building with an elevator. Great to have the couch fold out for our daughter to sleep on and for us to have a seperate room. Good neighborhood with fresh bagels right downstairs and great coffee around the corner at Oslo. A/C and having an elevator made our lives so much more plesant! It was nice to have a kitchen, though the building made it easy to order delivery meals. WiFi was much appreciated. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We had an issue with the tub (which turned out to be a misunderstanding on how the drain/plug worked) and he was at the apartment first thing in the morning with the super. The owner was very accomodating about our check-in/check-out times and offered to hold our luggage for us for a later check-out. He even helped us with our luggage and flagged a cab! He also made recommendations for places in the neighborhood to visit. Nice neighborhood away from the craziness of, say, mid-town. Good restaurants within walking distance, easy to flag a cab, a quick cab ride to Central Park, not a long walk to the subway. We felt safe at all times. We enjoyed our stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
