After an extensive search for the perfect place to host a family event this is the property we chose. We were presented with a lovely home (very different vibe than a rental) perfectly located in a quant village just outside of Indianapolis. The property is a must see - better than advertised with concierge reatment. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were decorated with an artists eye. Plenty of room to move around both inside and outside the home to relax, celebrate OR if need be to 'escape 'if you need some time alone. The property is PRIVATE yet close to parks, playgrounds, golf courses, walking/biking paths, 4 star restaurants and a grocery store if so inclined. Seriously a really great experience. I would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone who is looking for something different.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I brought a few fellas to Indianapolis for some golf and the Indy 500. We had a grand time and the accommodations were fine. Plenty of room for everybody. A very comfortable stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The home, Scarlet, and the weather were absolutely perfect. Stayed at the home with a group of about 20 kids and had the time of our lives. Scarlet gave the home the fondest touch of fun and relaxation at the same time. We are all looking to visit again and are so blessed to have had the experience we did. THANK YOU SCARLET the home and your hospitality were beyond any of our expectations. 8 men stayed here for our 16th annual golf trip. Scarlet is most accomodating. The property is expansive, comfortably appointed, quiet and secluded with great kitchen and gathering room. Perfect for recovering from 36 holes (or a 12 oz. bone-in filet at St. Elmo!) with a stiff cocktail while watching the NFL draft and enjoying the fireplace. There were 14 of us getting together for a very special reunion. The property was fabulous. Everyone had their own space, but everyone could be together and enjoy the wonderful house. The touches that Scarlett had provided were so defining. We immediately felt at home, and felt that every need had been anticipated. The community was likewise a wonderful surprise. Friendly people, great shopping, fabulous food; who could ask for more? We hope to return soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was perfect for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was beautiful and well-equipped. We all enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard. In better weather the yard would be great for hiking and/or relaxing. Scarlet made us feel at home.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We were looking for a family getaway to spend time with each other and enjoy food, games and laughter. We were very pleased with the spaciousness of the home and also the quietness of the bedrooms. There was 15 adults and 6 children under the age of six. The spacious bedrooms allowed plenty of room for the children to sleep on their air beds that we brought along and quietness for naptime and late night game playing for the adults. We loved the pool table, ping pong table and shuffle board in the basement..we held many games and shared alot of fun. The town of Zionsville is very nice to visit and we enjoyed the walking paths that are all over the town on a bike ride with the bikes that Scarlet had available. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the beautiful backyard.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Five couples from my husband's family - ages 45-70+ - decided to spend the weekend together (no small children were included). This house is lovely! The photos do NOT do it justice. We spent time together in the family room and kitchen area. The furnishings are comfortable and inviting. Each couple had their own nicely decorated bedroom with a private bath. Scarlet was very accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. Her lovely home is filled with artwork - many of which she did herself. While we didn't include small children in our weekend, families with children would find the home very accomodating for their needs. The basement has plenty of space for games and activities. We spent Saturday in downtown Zionsville visiting the downtown shops and merchants. We had a late breakfast at Big Dave's Deli & Meats, we spent an hour or so in the local winery, Hopwood Cellars and we had dinner at The Friendly Tavern. These were fantastic places to spend time together as a group of 10. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are in the process of booking the home again for next year! For the first time in several years, my family and the families of my three siblings were able to meet in one place to celebrate Christmas. The experience was one I will never forget. There were fourteen of us, including our year-old granddaughter. There were enough bedrooms for each couple to have a bed and bath to themselves. The home is beautiful, well appointed, and secluded on a wooded lot with visiting deer. There is access to a bike path, and my brother rode his bike one morning into the charming town of Zionsville. We bought our Christmas dinner at the local grocery store, Marsh's (and the owner of the home had graciously provided a shoppers discount card in her instruction package!). We were easily able to cook and serve our meal with the cookware and place settings provided and enjoyed every minute of it. Afterwards we had a double elimination pool tournament on the beautiful pool table located in the basement, while some of us played games in the living room sitting in front of the gas fireplace or watched the football game on the large TV on the wall across from one of the extremely comfortable couches. It was remarkably comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. We hope to be able to make this an annual event!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.
