  We booked this place very last minute and were very happy with how it turned out. The condo is extremely well decorated and everything we needed was available. We loved all the upgrades and facilities that were made available to us. We're definitely going to be back to this condo in the near future for many more quiet weekends with family.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Angie, the owner, was extremely helpful and she was easy to reach and communicate with. I did have difficulty figuring out her tv/dish/ blue ray set up. The three different remotes were confusing. The townhome is beautifully decorated and close to downtown Galena and other attractions. We even drove to Dubuque, Iowa for under half hour to the Mississippi River museum and aquarium. We also rented movies at the Walmart red box, on road 20, approximately 8 mins. away. Would love to return in the summer to walk the trails and the golf course. We even had access to the owner's club house with indoor pool and workout center.

  The place is wonderful! The pictures show exactly what this townhome looks like. We loved the décor (hand painted dishes!)! It was equipped with everything we needed and more! Will recommend to friends, it was a great stay! Thank you Angie!

  My husband and I spend 2 nights at this beautiful condo and had a truly relaxing and wonderful time. We had a fire going in the fireplace and enjoyed the view of the snow covered golf course. The whirlpool was a relaxing way to start the day. The photos truly show the home as it is ~ a perfect blend of modern decor and homey touches. The home was immaculate. This is the first time we have been to Galena in January and we felt like we had Eagle Ridge to ourselves. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and excercise room at the Owners Club. We would highly recommend this unit to everyone and truly hope to stay again someday. Thank you, Angie for being so wonderful to work with.

  We had a very comfortable stay at the condo - it was like being at home. The Galena territory is beautiful. We even saw some wild turkies !! The golf courses were well groomed and picturesque. It rained and we didn't golf this time. We definitely plan on returning for another getaway!

  My husband and I chose this townhome for a weekend getaway. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace! It was just the two of us, but there is also a pullout sofa downstairs. Just a short drive into the town. We would definitely rent this townhome again. Thanks Angie!

  I traveled to Galena because I was in a wedding that was taking place at the Eagle Ridge Resort. This townhome/unit is exactly like most of the units you can rent from the resort...only it's cost about HALF as much! We had friends that rented the same unit (well same exact layout) and they had horrible views and were very dated, yet they cost a lot more. The owner was very helpful and nice. She also provides renters with "Owners Club" cards that allow you access to the fitness center and pool at the resort (and you don't have to pay the extra $35 a night that the resort charges for that!). The unit itself was well maintained and updated (i.e. granite counters, new appliances, nice jacuzzi tub in master, etc). I imagine that if we were there on a real vacation, instead of for the wedding, we would have used the kitchen a lot more because it's quite a drive to get to restaurants in town. Bottom line, this place has everything you could ever need and a beautiful view from the patio. The only thing I would like to have had would be WiFi. I sadly didn't really get to spend much time in the unit due to being busy with the wedding stuff but I am already trying to talk my husband into going back again soon and we'll DEFINITELY be staying here when we do!

  This place had it all and exceeded all expectations. I stayed with 3 other women and we all agreed it was much cleaner than a hotel room and so great to be able to cook and eat all together. We never even made it in to Galena because we were so comfortable at the house! The house had great upgrades and interior design which added to the great location. We grilled out on the patio and watched the golfers a few yards away. We have decided to try and do this anually! Thank you for having such a great place at such a reasonable rate!

  The townhome itself is very bright, open and cheerful. We loved the vaulted ceilings and being able to sit on the back deck and view the 9th green. The owners did an amazing job of decorating and maintaining such a clean and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again, if possible. I would highly recommend this property.
