  We all gathered to celebrate my 50th birthday. The property was fabulous with enough room for everyone. It was a very relaxing experience that I would repeat. Thank you

  We rented this house for a total of 3 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday. The first my husband and two kids, 2 and 4, stayed here, then they left and 7 of my friends came down to join me. The 8 of us girls had plenty of space and so much fun. The beds were comfy, the rooms were richly decorated, and the whole house was warm and inviting. We really appreciated the large table that expanded and the huge quantity of dishes and silverware so that we weren't spending all of our time in the kitchen. We really loved being able to walk into town. With Depoe Bay being a sleepy seaside town, we didn't have to deal with the huge crowds that you might find at Seaside or Lincoln City. It was nice to be able to drive to larger cities for more activities and then come home to the quiet views of this house. We had a perfect weekend and will be booking again for next year. Andi, the manager, was so sweet and helpful, and the owner was very accommodating. Thank you so much, we definitely will be back!!

  Thanks, Ray, for letting us enjoy your beautiful Depoe Bay home this past weekend. And thanks for going to the trouble (which turned out to be considerable) to let us split the cost on two credit cards. The house is absolutely beautifully finished, with gorgeous hardwoods throughout and furnished with comfortable couches and beautiful artwork. There were only 5 of us, so a lot of that wonderful sleeping space went untouched (Andi said she was happy she wouldn't have to make those bunk beds!). We could definitely imagine throwing a bunch of teenagers or kids in that cool basement with all those movies and a pool table and hardly seeing them. The weather was like a lottery win-- beautiful sunny skies, mild temps and NO WIND! We walked to our favorite restaurant (Tidal Raves) for dinner, made seafood jambalaya at home another evening, Enjoyed the hot tub every night, too.... Took some long walks in the neighborhood-- even talked to one of your neighbors about an oceanfront lot for sale (dreaming) . Yes, the neighborhood might be a little "sketchy" as one reviewer put it, but Oregon coast lovers expect this of the beach towns and appreciate the charm and diversity! The view from the public bench at the top of the hill is unparalleled. We left you some new wine glasses....:) We'll be back!

  This house is perfect for a large family! The layout is nice, big kitchen and eating area and living room looking out over Depoe Bay. Very nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Reasonably priced when compared to similar properties in the area up & down the Oregon Coast. Lots of table games to play, and a nice game room downstairs complete with pool table and movies. We really enjoyed our stay, aside from the 90 mph winds that weekend! We stayed in and watched from the warmth of the fireplace!

  Our stay at this home was outstanding! It looks exactly as pictured and as described, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked and the property managers were very attentive. I have already referred a friend and would definitely stay here again!

  This beach house was perfect for our large group. The location was amazing!! We saw whales just about every day. We even saw them from the living room window. The spouting horn was incredible after a stormy night. I highly recommend this beach house; you won't be disappointed!!

  Owner response: Thanks Pam, so happy the house worked out well for your group. It is a wonderful setting with some great views of the spouting horn and also for whale watching. It is so much fun to watch the shooting spouts of water 20-30 feet and sometimes even higher from the kitchen window in the winter. It's also great to spot the whales spouting and I've seen them in the little cove close to the house. Unfortunately I can't always guarantee that you will see whales, but in season it's pretty much of a given. Hope you will come again!

  The house is extremely well stocked! Our weather was Perfect as well. The stairs were a bit overwhelming but it was worth the sore calves. The trails up on the cliffs were beautiful at sunrise & sunset. Pool table and movies were great as well along with the hot tub. Absolutely a wonderful weekend for a birthday bash. The winter storms would be a great time to stay as well. The views were outstanding. Perfect place for 8+ people. Definately will rent again. The owner & property managers were very helpful and nice.

  The site is wonderful, but the surroundings are only so-so. There is too much deferred maintenance to rate this excellent. Also the cleaning is a bit sketchy. However, the view is good and it is well equipped. At least mow the weeds!!

Yes, Depoe Bay is one of those sleepy seaside villages, but lot's of beautiful views and lots of fun stuff to do in Lincoln City 8 miles to the north and Newport 12 miles to the south. I will check into the yard, I think we had a little mix up there on getting those weeds cut. Thanks for the heads up on that and will do a closer check on the cleaning. Glad you had a good time. Hope you can come again.
