We arrived home safely and wanted to thank you for all you did to make our three days in Monticello very enjoyable. We very much enjoyed our session at the temple. It is always fun to visit different temples and observe how different some things are done and yet there is always such a sweet spirit. There were enough people attending the 10:00 session that they had to bring in folding chairs. We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Grist Mill Inn, the two lovely breakfast meals and your will willingness to accommodate our schedule. We are gratful for the opportunity to meet you and your son. We wish you all the best in your endeavors of keeping up with your busy responsilbities at the Grist Mill Inn. We hope your business will continue to do well. We will certainly recommend your Inn to anyone we know who will be traveling your way. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit you again in the future. Sincerely, Beth & Allan BushRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We took advantage of the stay and play golf package..2nights at the B&B, 36 holes of golf each at the Hide-Out CC, 4 dinners and 2 breakfasts. Such a great value!! The B&B is totally awesome..we have stayed in over a dozen B&B and this is the best one ever! Crystal (and Jackson) were very good hosts. Food was excellent, rooms & common areas were clean. We took numerous business cards to hand out to family and friends! We will be back!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful surprise in the Four Corners region! Thanks to Ben and Crystal for bringing this gem back to life in Monticello. It's a perfect base for exploration of the Four Corners and Canyonlands area. We had visited here about 15 years ago and loved it. It's a fabulous inn with enthusiastic managers! Thanks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented out the entire B & B with a large group of our friends, and it was such a fun weekend! We had decided to do a murder mystery dinner and Ben and Crystal even arranged for the dinner to be catered by another resturant in town!Ben and Crystal were so great to work with and the breakfast they cooked was yummy! Such a great place to go relax and get away from it all. Our room was so warm and cozy, definately felt like home. Just the getaway we needed! Thanks again Ben & Crystal!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Very best place to stay in Monticello! Crystal made us feel very welcome and at home. Her breakfasts are yummy and her hospitality superb. She even arranged for us to have an evening meal catered by a local restaurant in her spacious dining room. Lots of extra sitting rooms to spread out in and an old quaint library to visit. One of my best ever experiences with a B & B. Highly recommened!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: My husband and I decided to start the Grist Mill Inn January 2011 and opened March, 1st 2011. Ben is going to school to be a helicopter pilot and I am a stay at home mom with our cute little man, Jaxson. Ben and I absolutely love running the Grist Mill as we get to meet people from all over the world and there is such a charm and history that comes with the place.
Why the Owner Chose Monticello:
We chose to start the Grist Mill as it is located right in the middle of 12 National Parks and Monuments. We are very close to Canyonlands, Arches, Monument Valley, Natural Bridges, etc..... Also there is Blue Moutain with lots of hiking and ATV trails and water activities. Monticello is a great place to visit for a variety of outdoor activities.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge:
The Grist Mill has the history of the old flour mill and each room is decorated beautifully with different themes. They are named after people who either settled Monticello or played an important role back in the 1800's in Monticello.
Guests are welcome to cook all their own meals while they stay as there is a very large kitchen and dining room. We also have a variety of restaurants to choose from in the area.
Lots of hiking, swimming, ATV trails and many other outdoor activities are just minutes away in all directions.
