My wife and I recently stayed at Valley Isle #1105 for our Honeymoon. We fell in love with the place from the moment we walked through the door. The web site pictures do not do this place justice. The views of Molokai and Kahana Beach from the lanai were absolutely stunning and it was a real treat to enjoy our breakfast and coffee each morning sitting out there while hearing the waves crash and watching the occasional sea turtle swim by, in addition to watching the wonderful Maui sunsets. The condo itself was very modern looking with upgraded appliances and had a nice open feel and a real Hawaiian personality to it. In addition to the fantastic ocean front setting is that this place is very convenient as there are at least 3 restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as the local bus stop being right in front of the property that takes you directly to the Whalers Village area and easy access to Kannapali Beach without the parking hassle (or risk of a DUI should you want to enjoy a few cocktails at one of the many fine establishments located there) I challenge anyone to find a better value in West Maui that has all these features in such a prime location for the price. Don't even bother paying the resort fees for the higher end places and book your stay here now. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Jeff and Trish for sharing such a gem, and we cant wait to get back. Aloha, a hui hou! (Goodbye and until we meet again)

if you are looking to stay in West Maui then look no further. This is a GREAT condo in a great location. Condo is just as you see it - beautifully maintained and updated. Open the front door and the door to the lanai and feel the amazing breeze blow through the entire condo - no AC needed. We spent many many hours out on the lanai just watching the world go by below. No whales this early in the season, but we did see turtles below. This condo is RIGHT on the beach - you will not be sorry when you select this condo for your vacation. Don't let the 11th floor scare you off - elevator was super fast - you won't be spending your time waiting for elevator to go up or down. And on the 11th floor, you have amazing sweeping views of Lana'i and Moloka'i. Mahalo nui loa for such a wonderful place to spend our vacation.

Thank you Jeff and Trisha for the use of your condo at the Valley Isle Resort. My boyfriend and I spent a fabulous 7 days in Maui and the comforts of your condo could not have made us feel more at home. Our favorite part of the trip was watching the sunset from our lanai while enjoying a bottle of wine. We can't wait for our next trip and will absolutely being staying at the Valley Isle again!

We went to Maui for our 10 year wedding anniversary and I can tell you HANDS DOWN the very best place to stay EVER. Our trip was 12 days, and even after seeing other resorts etc, I wouldnt want to stay in any other place. The best views you could ask for, great breeze 24/7, dont worry about not having ac, you dont need it! Everything we read and all the review about this listing are 100% accurate - but even better in person. The property was immaculate. Felt like home. Comfortable furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable(unlike some places you stay at where the mattress is 100 years old) this bed was fantastic. Everything that you could need or want. Beach chairs: check Boogie boards: check Kitchen items: check Washer/Dryer: check TV: check (not that we watched much tv) 5 stars out of 5 stars. One of the nicest things: key-less entry, so convenient. I would and already have reccomended this rental to people. YES, we would stay there again! Thanks for having such a nice place and for renting it out to us.

Aloha Jeff, Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in your condo on our "weddingmoon". We can't ever thank you enough! We literally missed it before the elevator doors closed on the 11th floor. The views and the interior were even more amazing than your pictures showed. It seems you thought of everything! It was beautiful and spotless. I wish you could have seen my new husband's face when we walked in the door. I got a "Are you KIDDING ME?!" and a "YOU ROCK!" from him, and so did you. He said if he weren't already marrying me, he'd take a chance and call you. =) Thanks again for everything. We're already saving our pennies for our next trip to your little piece of Paradise! It's true what they say ~ Maui No Ka Oi. Mahalo nui loa, ~gina

My wife and I stayed at this condo for 6 days and had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying in Kahana as we've usually stayed in Ka'anapali. Kahana is nice and quiet, but still close to all the action of Lahaina and Ka'anapali. The condo is beautifully refurbished and is perfect for a getaway for two. The view from the lanai is incredible and alone worth the price of admission. We will certainly be back and highly recommend anyone who is going to Maui to give this property a look as you won't find a better value for lodging. We thank Jeff and Trish for sharing their beautiful condo with us.

If you want picture perfect ocean views from your lanai and a quiet sleep in a well maintained condo with upgraded furnishings and appliances, then this is the place! We've been vacationing in Maui for more than 9 years and this unit offers the very best. This condo felt more like a home than a vacation rental. We've already booked our week for 2011.

01/26/10 Our stay at Valley Isle Resort #1105 was wonderful. Jeff was so easy to work with and we really enjoyed our stay in the condo. The lanai was a favorite spot for watching whales, sunsets and seeing the light from the full moon on the water below. We certainly enjoyed the new king sized bed. We can't wait to return. Unit 1105 is fantastic. The video's and picture's are great but don't convey the extraordinary quality level of the unit. This is as nice, or nicer, then most homes. The location is great, as you need to drive in Maui if you want the full experience, and the sunset views are postcard perfect. We highly recommend this unit and the information/service provided by Jeff.

We stayed in June 2009 and the trip couldn't have been better! #1105 is the perfect Maui location. The view/access to the beach and ocean is breathtaking; the location on Maui makes access to the fun stuff easy; the condo is spotless and perfectly stocked; the owners are gracious hosts that gave us tips that really helped us make the most of our time on Maui. We could not recommend it more highly.

The beach was just a few steps away from the condo and the beach was so beautiful. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your wonderful condo. We will stay here again when we visit.

We spent a week at 1105 and 3 days at 1009 in Valley Isle. Both were great places, I liked the decor in 1009 and my hubby liked 1105. The location is fabulous, we rented a car and hit a different beach every day. Thanks Jeff for all the valuable info. you gave us. We used the Maui Revealed book daily. We will definitely be back to Valley Isle. The only negative we had was the initial shock of no air conditioning, but found how to keep it cool with the cross breezes from the front and back windows and doors. Jeff you were fantastic in getting us taken care of at both places, again we humbly thank-you

We stayed in the condo from June 7-16, 2008. This is a fantastic condo with excellent location right on the beach! The short 10 minute drive from Lahaina and Kaanapali was great. We also loved that we were within short walking distance of the Kahana Gateway shops. We loved grilling out at the pool and eating dinner on the lanai with a gorgeous ocean view! Highly recommended!

Jeff- Thank you SO much for letting us enjoy your place!! We are sadly packing up to move from your BEAUTIFUL condo to the complex that wants to try and sell us a timeshare. After staying here, we have even more reason to decline them! I know you had tried to convey to us on the phone how nice your condo is, but seeing it is beyond your description and much nicer even than it shows in the website pictures. The decor is very "us" too.We have stayed in this complex before and came here this time with 2 other couples that stayed in 1205 & 707 but they all agree that we scored the best one. We had to right away declare 1105 as "ours" when we come again! Thank you again and hope to contact you again next year. Kathi & Greg Lowe

To all readers of this guest book please beaware that there are only 2 rating choices, positive and negative. That is an absolute shame because for unit 1105 there be a "positive +++++" as that would be our rating after spending March 30th through April 10th of 2007 enjoying every minute of our stay. The interior is class all the way but with an instant feeling of, "I'm home". Even though we were there somewhat late in the whale watching season, once we knew how to spot them we were thrilled with the daily show - so much so that we went out (Ritz camera) and picked up a pair of binoculars, which I recommend. The rascals mostly show up farther out than we would have liked but on the last morning we were treated to a virtual "drive by" with two seemingly close enough to reach out and touch. That was a spectacular morning that included a double rainbow off of Molokai and a lanai fly by of two white doves - didn't cost us a cent extra. We made ample use of the BBQ by the pool until my wife decided she'd rather eat in Lahina or Kanapaali but I was able to hold her off for a couple of days. The interior of 1105 is comfy and modern boasting of a great kitchen, flat screen TV (with cable) and a really good DSL / wireless broadband connection. I could go on and on but needless to say we're already planning our next visit to 1105.

We stayed at the Valley Isle resort room 1105 from December 24th-January 3rd, 2007. We were there for our wedding and honeymoon as well as Christmas and New Years. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend these special days. The condo was the perfect place for newleyweds. It is beautifully remodeled and the sound of the waves crashing against the beach was what we fell asleep to every night and awoke to every morning. The view provided the beauty of rainbows and the entertainment of whales each day. The beach out in front of the condo provided that sandy beach strolls that people long for when they think of Hawaii. I would definately stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

I just wanted to let you know how very much we enjoyed your beautiful condo. We were not disappointed in any way; on the contrary, we were very impressed with the obvious care and pride you took in the renovation process. The appointments were top shelf; the appliances top end and the place was sparkling clean. There isn't one thing I would criticize and there isn't one thing we needed that wasn't provided. Although we probably will not be seeing it again because the trip from New York was physically too difficult for us senior citizens, we will certainly recommend it to friends and family who may be planning a trip to Maui. It is hard to beleive that the alterations you did could make it more wonderful than the first time. we loved the louvered doors and the plants. The whales put on their ususal fine show and the snorkeling was great. The weather wasn't that bad on Maui, It was partly cloudy with brief showers. We spent ten nights at the Caputo's beautiful condo. It was the perfect place to come back to each evening after a long day of exploring the island. The condo is decorated very nicely and is extremely neat and clean. The view from the lanai is incredible-it's the perfect place to watch the sunset over Molokai. The strong trade winds kept the condo just cool enough, and we had a great night's sleep every night. The Valley Isle resort is quiet and very well maintained, and we enjoyed grilling by the pool several times. We will definately stay at the Caputo's condo again and we highly recommend it!

Well, We must say that after 8 trips to Maui the Caputo's condo out does them all. This place not only having one of the best views on the island but the upgrades that have been done are hard to find in some of the best hotels out there. The condo does not miss on any level, this is diffently a great place to come to and forget about all your stresses. For couples it's a dream. As always Maui's restaurants did not let us down, top of the list would be nick's fish market at the Fairmount Hotel in Wailea, get there early for a patio seat, the food, salad, main course, and the banana fosters were to die for.The service put all other to shame. As always two trips to Mama's fish house are a must, one time for lunch and 1 time for dinner ,make sure you have a Mai Tai there, they are by far the best on the island, and I would say one only,it's along drive back after dinner and the drink does pack a punch. The Plantation house was good, always get there 30 minutes before to watch the sunset. This next place is a little hard to find but has always been on the top of our list for lunch or dinner,it the Hali'maile general store in the upcountry,if you go to the volcano you will pass Hali'maile road so that kind of gives you a touch of where they are located, and for food there crab cakes are by far better than anywhere we have eaten east or west coast, there on the lunch menu but if you ask they sometimes will do it for dinner just for you, what great customer service. Also try the Waterfront in MaAlaea, again make sure to request outside seating it's great looking over the harbor with the sunset.Make sure to do the Hula Grill, but make sure to go to the casual side, feet in the sand and get there 20 minutes before the live music starts ,it's great.Breakfast is a triple must at The Gazebo in Napili, get there early or you will be waiting in line for this one..Now you may think we only ate on this trip but we only had 2 days of rest on our 10day vacation,so we put the miles on that car,for the fisherman in the group, book your fishing with Iwa Lele, these guys (kenny) and his mate worked hard to find the fish and they did,we got 27 yellowfin,it was crazy,we had 4 poles at one time with fish on the line..Well there's lots more but I will leave the rest to your own planning,be sure to book all your restaurants way in advance and all your activites or else you may find yourself at Mickey D's.. Well back to the Jeff and his palace in pardise,it's the best and I know everone will enjoy it as muc

We only had two days to enjoy Valley Isle before we checked in to a different resort for another week on Maui. We absolutely loved your home. Besides being beautiful, it was comfortable! And the view! The barbeque area was a great place to visit with other visitors and share opinions on where to go and what to see. We even met someone else from Auburn. We highly recommend a meal or more from the Okazuya Deli; Cafe O'Lei in Lahaina was great; and the Plantation House Restaurant was awesome. The drive to Hana is beautiful - take time to hike to the many waterfalls. Once you get to Hana don't continue on that road to come back. We had someone tell us that it was a lot shorter and a fairly easy drive. DON'T BELIEVE THEM! It takes twice as long and can be very dangerous. Beaches on Maui are beautiful and a drive to the crater is recommended. Get your excursions out of the way at the beginning of your trip so that you can come home relaxed.

WOW! The entire experience was great! It started with the reservation; how great it was to deal with an actual person on the phone; everything is so automated today. And what can we say about the condo; I would recommend staying here to anyone that would listen! It's on the beach, great views of the whales, Molokai, great breezes, great sunsets, great sunrise, beautifully decorated condo, we can go on and on! We didn't see the condo before the renovations; all we know is it's gorgeous now! We even had the afternoon sun, but it never actually came into the condo, so it never got hot in our condo as it did next door at the Sands of Kahana, which I thought was awesome! When we were at the condo, we were outside on the patio just soaking it all up! We will definitely be back and we'll definitely recommend to friends and family! Mahalo!

We would definitely stay there again. We have seen many units in The Valley Isle and 1105 is by far the nicest!! We hope to see you next year. Mahalo Nui Loa! Sam and Michelle Cleveland, Ohio

What a wonderful condo in paradise! Jeff made the transaction very smooth. We really enjoyed the lanai and were glad we brought our binoculars to watch the whales, wind surfers, and kite surfers. This condo made our stay more enjoyable and luxurious. We hope to return every year! Thank you!

The renovations of unit 1105 are fabulous. We have stayed in Valley Isle before and have seen many of the units and by far the accomodations are the most updated and modern of any other unit there. Jeff was amazingly informative and made the whole transaction extremely easy and efficient. We cant wait to go back!

Hello Jeff, We have been staying at the Valley Isle Resort for the last 15 years and your unit has been by far the best unit we've stayed in. Your condo is comfortable and very well furnished. We enjoyed the view and wonderful weather. We look forward to staying in your unit in the future. Thanks for the hospitality.

Just returned November 11, 2004 from a wonderful week in Maui. The condo is absolutely beautiful and clean. We traveled with 4 other couples and all were envious of unit #1105 when compared to their condos. We enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast and coffee on the lanai each morning. Everything we needed was in the unit. Loved having the washer and dryer. We tried a different restuarant each evening. This is our third time to Maui and would definately love to stay in 1105 again if it is available. Jeff was very helpful in our vacation planning and greatly appreciated.

Sarah and I spent 10 days at Jeff's condo in July '04 and had a wonderful time. I debated booking our stay at a hotel, but I definitely made the right choice in choosing the Valley Isle Resort. The owners of the #1105 are extremely helpful in providing info regarding what you should expect in Maui, where to visit, what to see, where to eat, etc. The condo itself was more than we expected and was a bargain in our opinion. The Valley Isle in Kahana is a short drive from Lahaina, located right on the oceanfront with spectacular views, plenty of free parking, beach access, close restaurants, and often has better weather than towns further south. The condo is very clean, nicely furnished, and offers all the amenities needed for your stay, including Maui travel books. I'm sad we missed the renovations that were made shortly after our trip, but I would definitely book another stay in #1105 for my next trip back to Maui and check out the upgrades.
