First the positives-Great oceanfront location and also close to town. The satellite tv was great for someone who doesn't go out at night. The collection of books was great and ensures you never run out of reading material. The living room furniture is very comfortable. The house was clean upon arrival. Areas for improvement-was told there would be 2-5 galllon water containers....there was only one, so I ran out. The furniture outside was very uncomfortable/unpadded so discouraged sitting on the patio for long lengths of time. The master bedroom mattress rolled you to the center, so sleeping was uncomfortable. The entire house is poorly maintained-tile thoughout the house has large chunks missing, there are only door screens (no window screens for avoiding the air conditioner) which had large holes in them and didn't close flush, so was swarmed by insects inside, incessantly. If you are a cook, the kitchen is poorly equipped/maintained-only 1 track light bulb working in kitchen out of 3 so nighttime cooking out of the question, only 3 burners on stove worked, cooking utensils were so sparse there weren't measuring cups (but did have measuring spoons) to make recipes as desired, tongs warped so wouldn't pick anything up, only 1 chewed up spatula, only 1 mixing spoon, only 1 serving bowl (no mixing bowls) for the entire kitchen, broiler pan was filthy (from previous tenant) with an inch of grease in the bottom of the pan, gas grill starter doesn't work, so couldn't use it, etc, etc. Overall I was disappointed and left early because of it. I wouldn't rent here again and wouldn't recommend it to others. The rent was similar to other houses (within $100) that had to have been better equipped/maintained and worth the few extra dollars. I understand now why there were only 4 pictures on this website.
