Local Arts and Crafts abound in this section of the Blue Ridge Parkway, including music festivals and dancing opportunities. Close to the New River Trail for hiking and biking. Movie theaters and Mall 30-45 minutes away. House is surrounded by blackberry bushes and has mint and lavender for fragrance. Year- around pleasure in this gorgeous setting nestled in the Blue Ridge Parkway valley. Holidays are better, as is every day, ON THE LAKE! Home is in safe neighborhood, but almost zero traffic, except for boats on the lake. Gas fireplace for chilly evenings. Porch swing is the 'sofa' in the living great room...see who 'calls it' first! Wake up in main floor bedroom and look out at the lake. Gate at the top of the porch steps to protect the little ones. Birds and deer share the front yard. Watch DVDs or VHFs evenings, or play cards and board games in dining area or on the front porch. Bring your own cell phone....and don't turn it on!
