  The condo was great for my family (2 adults and 3 kids) and had spectacular views. Unit was very clean and modern and the AC was a plus. Having a kitchen was key for us too. We loved the indoor and outdoor pool and the campfire was a big hit for all. Our plans were a bit damped with the rain and we ended up staying in both nights. Would have liked if condo had some games but that is something we should have thought of bringing.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. The resort , amenities fee that you pay for entitles guests with valid paid passes to go to the Luxury Mountain Getaways front desk to request board games, cards, croquet, tennis raquets, basketballs and other items as part of the " amenities". In our unit we have Candyland and a couple other childrens' games.

  I love Nordic Village but was not happy with the double unit at all. Even though i was made aware the wood burning fire places were being converted they still were not in working order & had welded bars across. The hallway ceiling connecting the 2 units had a 18inch flap of hanging plaster along with a leak that a pail had to be paced under when temp rose. The bedding was filthy & stained & the dryer took 2 days for a normal load of anything to dry. The deck had 2 ft of ice & chairs were buried & looked like glass dome fixtures were buried in the snow. It would of been nice to sit on the deck to enjoy a cup of coffee. I would not recomend this unit to anyone. I left several messages with the owner & she never got back to me.

  Recommended for: Pet owners.

  Owner response: I never received a call from this guest and the damage you are referring to I am unaware of. There is a number on your rental agreement to call our housekeeper who is also the caretaker for the property and she was not called either so I don't know what to tell you about this. A new roof was put on this building in August, 2011 so I don't know how a leak would occur.

  Great condo with the comforts of home and a beautiful view! We had a good time in the Jackson/North Conway area...we had great weather and we would recommend this rental to other families.

  We had an opportunity to stay in the 2 bedroom unit and I can not say enough about the condo. The cleanliness, decor and overall atmosphere was impressive. Nordic Village property from the main gate, to the pools....all the way up the hill was outstanding. I would HIGHLY recommend this property (and already have, several times) to friends. My family would love to return next year and will without question return to this same property

  I spent a weekend in the downstairs condo which has full amenities; washer, dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, wireless internet, fireplace, etc. The unit was immaculately clean and maintained. The location is perfect for access to North Conway and the mountains. Everything you could want is within a 10 minute drive. There is discount shopping, several ski resoorts, dining, nightlife, summer hiking. The view from the condo is stunning. The recreation facilities are fabulous. Nothing like hot tubs and a heated pool after a day on the slopes. I have stayed at this property three times, but never had a problem getting the key. I will definitely be back.

  We stayed in the Penthouse Suite. We had an excellent view from the top of the mountain. We had a deck, but with 5 feet of snow on it, we could just look from the door. The penthouse unit is definately only for 2 people, I think it would get cramped with more than two. We stayed for 3 nights, I think any more than 3 nights, you would need a unit with a kitchen, because eating out every night can get expensive. Close to North Conway, (10 mins) Nestlenook Farm has great winter activities and only 2 mins away. (hint if you stay at Nordic Village, you get a discount at Nestlenook farm for activities, sometimes even free.) We were close to our favorite snowboarding mountain so that was good. The only thing that I really did not like was the key pickup. I have never had a problem when I rented a condo/home until now. I arrived at the housekeepers home to pick up the key and she was not there. Long story short, I waited over an hour. I was there after check in time too. So needless to say, I was pretty nerved. I called the housekeeper and owner. I understand things happen but when there is someone checking in, and the person who is supposed to have the key wasn't there, it gets aggravating very quickly. I just wanted to start my vacation off right, and that didn't help. overall, nice place, got a good rate, okay for a long weekend getaway.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  Owner response: The keys are now at the property in a lock box, so no waiting for a key. The penthouse " B" unit is a honeymoon suite and is only equipped for two - three persons. The other lock off part of the unit is the other part of the condo that sleeps 5 in the A unit
