The New Deck is Awesome! - Buena Vista, CO - Colorado Chalet Rental - Just 30-45 minutes from Monarch & Copper Mountain Ski Resorts! Our Non-Smoking chalet is nestled on six acres at 9000 feet along the Collegiate Peaks. It overlooks the valley and the town of Buena Vista with scenic views of the mountains and wildlife from every window. The downstairs bedroom is the Texas Bed and Bath which has a queen and full size bed. Upstairs in the Little Hunter's Hideout is a set of bunk beds and twin bed. Next door is the Fishing dock with a queen bed. Across the hall, next to the bathroom, is the master bedroom with king and full size beds. There is access for hiking or ATVs in the San Isabel National Forrest directly across the street. Or you can relax on the NEW 500 sq. foot lower deck and listen to the sounds of the creek below blended with the wind through the aspens and ponderosa pines. You could also enjoy some of the best fly fishing in the country down in the valley on the Arkansas River, or you could settle for the brook trout a short walk down the creek to the pond. There are activities to enjoy year round in the area. We keep a list of our favorite activities with contact numbers and directions at the cabin. Our favorites are river rafting, hiking, sightseeing, exploring, riding ATVs and Snowmobiles, snowskiing (Monarch, Ski Cooper, and Copper Mountain Ski Resorts are all 30-45 minutes away), ice fishing, sledding, and just spending time together.
