  The condo was excellent and roomy. Location was perfect for getting on and off the gondola. This was our first time to Mammoth for a ski trip. Loved the convenience of being right in the village, everything within walking distance, we never had to drive.. The road noise from the bedrooms was very noisy. The master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable, felt like you were sleeping on a box spring mattress.We had one little issue when we got there, but the owner was right on it and it was handled. The owner was very pleasant to deal with, I would like to come again to this area. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

  arrived not knowing what to expect as was our trip to mammoth ! condo was good and ez to find - very close to all the shops - we were there for fishing and mountain bking , we rented bikes just down the stairs from teh condo , super easy. Condo was great - we have 3 teenagers so we used 2nd bedrom and the pull out sofa . Great morning views of the pines and mountains from the patio deck .....peaceful really liked the wine shop too, esp after when we put kids to bed ! see you next Fall

  had a great trip in mammoth, our first time in the Village for some Fall fishing. Condo is in good location right next to all shops , restaurants and fun places. Kids liked watching movie in the Village , and its right next to Mountain center so we could rent bikes and gear for the mammoth mountain bike park .... thx again , see you in Winter Chuck

  1st off the condo was fine, a bit noisy with road noise due to being on the road side of the complex (windows had to be open due to NO air-conditioning for summer use) but a great location in the Village. The owner(s) on the other hand had a blasé attitude about providing information, we didn't find out till four days before our arrival that they needed to mail us a key to get into the unit. They were slow on responding to questions and in general seemed uninterested in providing a smooth rental of the property.

  Owner response: Keys were mailed to this guest 2 weeks in advance, but returned in the mail to owners, by post office. 2nd set of keys were mailed few days prior to guest stay. Guest was also informed of owner back up plan to pick up keys in mammoth- our local property manager office is always available to provide keys on last minute basis and has done so many times. Instructions on how to open the doors to the condo, use the parking garage, etc are included in the overview attachment which is sent to all guests. The guest mentioned they had not yet read the attachment when they inquired about how to use the keys .

  I felt like writing two reviews as we had two very different experiences prior to arrival and during our stay. The Condo itself is in a great location in the heart of the village. We were able to park the car in the garage and not drive until our departure many days later. It is well appointed with comfortable beds, lots of dishes and cookware, beautiful bathrooms and everything we needed to enjoy our time. Lots of dining options and the walk to the Gondola in the morning was easy. It does face the street, which unfortunately means you hear the traffic and snowplows scraping the hell out of the road. I live in Canada, and I understand the importance of clearing the roads, but to do it at 3 am even if the snow stops at 4 pm seems a bit much. Not the owners fault. The prior to arrival part of this review is where I was really let down. Despite clearly indicating my Internet requirements in October and being reassured in January, 1 week prior to my arrival I was informed that Internet was no longer available in the condo. I was assured that a solution would be found, but the owners could not come up with a solution for me and by chance I was able to stumble on my own solution after arriving. I realize Internet cannot be guaranteed in case of a service outage, however removing the service altogether when you clearly have a contractual agreement and offering no alternatives and/or compensation seems bad taste. The biggest disappointment prior to arrival is that the owners seemed hesitant to give me the instructions on how to access the condo. I left my house for the airport not knowing how to access the condo, and upon arrival into LAX I had to use my cell phone ($$$) as well as pay for Internet services ($$$) so that I could get the information from the owners, who refused to answer their phone. It was the first vacation rental that I ever felt the need to take out insurance protection on, again at a cost to me ($$$). The condo owners seem to feel this was an appropriate way to communicate, and again I was left at a disadvantage both financially and most frustrating the added stress. What should have been a perfect rental was plagued by poor communication and resulted a stressful first couple days regarding things that were completely outside of my control. Once we arrived and I sorted out the issues by myself at my expense, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Advice: Hire a property manager and remove yourself from the entire booking process.

  Owner response: As starting point, this guest was 30 days late with payment so owners not entirely sure they were still planning to arrive on selected dates. Final payment was received but only few days prior to arrival. WiFi was never 'removed' as guest indicates - all guests for the past several years and currently , utilize the WiFi with no issues reported. There was an service issue that couldn't be resolved timely although considerable time was spent by owners trying to resolve in 10 days leading up to guest stay. Further , Wifi was resolved by owners opening an temprary account with Village directly and providing password for such. In addition, guest was offered compensation for any access fees paid for internet access - there was no response. Condo instructions were in fact sent out 2 mos ahead of this guests' stay - however, they apparenly were lost. As owners, our cell phones and home phone are made known to all guests and are on 24/7. Contacting us has never been an issue - however guest apparently didn't have an operating cell phone ( ?) at this time. As reference point, we have not had any reported issues in 4 years re internet access.

  We had a great time in Mammoth. Your place is very lovely. It's like a home away from home- very welcoming and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and being so close to everything. There was so much to do at the Village besides doing a little site seeing. Your condo was exactly as you described it on your web-site, pictures and all. We couldn't have asked for a better Family Reunion.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and took full advantage of all the wonderful amenities -- from the 60-second walk to the gondola, to the nice after-ski jacuzzi's and nice restaurants and shops just below us. The condo was roomy, furnished beautifully, and had a gorgeous view. We can't wait to go back. Thank you!

  An excellent choice for staying near everything in the Village at Mammoth Lakes summer or winter. The free shuttles are great for getting around town if you don't want to use your car. Condo was clean and roomy. Everything we needed was there! Beautiful views from the balcony!
