The cabin is a great get away for a family. My husband and our 2 teenage boys loved it here. There was plenty of "space" for us not to be on top of each other. The boys especially appreciated it . The hot tub was a great relaxation after a day in town with the boys. We especially loved the jetted tubs, they were quiet big, deep and wonderful. The cabin is very well decorated and with comfortable furniture and beds. We loved it here and look forward to visiting again in the future. David was quick to answer me when I emailed him. I would recommend this cabin to anyone needing a getaway!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

This cabin was great for our 4 day trip to Pigeon Forge. It was nicer in person than the photos and descripton on line. It was very clean and has been well maintained with lots of personal touches throughout. Communication with the owner was so easy and I always received a quick response when I needed it. The hot tub was a great luxury that my son especially enjoyed!! We did a lot of resting and watching movies during our visit. But, the location was so convenient to the Parkway we could easily and quickly reach any of the outlet malls, restaurants or entertainment that we wanted to. Gatlinburg was also a very easy drive. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Pigeon Forge that made you feel that you were isolated from the world but could be at your destination in minutes. We will be back for sure!! Thanks again for letting us use your beautiful home away from home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was comfortable (especially the beds!), nicely decorated and kept. We really enjoyed how the upstairs and downstairs are two seperate living areas. That gave our teen age girls the whole basement to themselves, with their own kitchenette, fireplace, jacuzzi and living room! My wife and I could have privacy when we wanted it in the master suite. We look forward to our next stay at this cabin! I would highly recommend it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Can't go wrong with this cabin. My family thoroughly loved everything about it. The description of the cabin was right on with what we found. Especially liked the TWO king size beds, since for some reason our kids seem to find there way into them. Really liked the fact that the two bedrooms were separated by the main floor kitchen level. This makes it nice if you have early risers or two small families, or like me and bring the Mother In-law, and put her in the basement to help keep her sane. Being close to town was a huge appealing factor in getting this cabin. Also having a grocery store extremely close by is nice too. The outdoor pool wasn't the cleanest, but at no fault to the cabin owners. Kid's only wanted to swim in the indoor pool anyways. Also having the indoor pool access was great because it rained every afternoon. Owners were very helpful and were quick to respond to any inquiries that I had. We will definitely stay in this cabin again, and chances are this fall.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at the cabin with our 4 grandddaughters. The accomodations were adequate for us. The girls all stayed downstairs. They enjoyed the outdoor pool right next door--several times we had it all to ourselves. We did cook in several times and the kitchen was well stocked. The girls enjoyed some of the games that are there in the cabin. We took in Dollywood, Dixie Stampede and went putt-putting. One thing this cabin has going for it is LOCATION. Being right at traffic light 3, you can cut across the Parkway and take Teaster Lane to Dollywood and Dixie and avoid the Parkway traffic--wonderful! The only closet you can hang things in is in the upstairs bedroom--another closet would be beneficial. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't figure out the Netflix and even with David calling us to try to work through it, we couldn't get it to work. David was very helpful and great to work with. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for letting us use your home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

I have rented many homes in the last several years through VRBO in various locations but this is the first time I have felt the need to post a review. The description of the house and pictures are completely accurate. My husband and I, along with our 2 boys and my parents stayed for 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer! As soon as we walked into the house you could tell it had been properly cleaned. It was the first time I had ever slept in a bed, in a rental house and could actually smell fabric softener on the blankets and comforter! The bedrooms are positioned perfectly to avoid early risers from waking up the ones that want to sleep a little later and provided privacy if you just want to get away from everyone for a while. They had a nice selection of games, puzzles and movies you can watch off of Netflix. The hot tub was clean and ready for us to enjoy as well. With gas being so expensive, it was also nice not to have to drain our gas tank going up and down the steep mountains when we went sight seeing. David and Lori were great to work with. They provided quick responses and a list of tips for house as well as traveling instructions for avoiding the traffic in Pigeon Forge. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone and will stay here again in the future. Thanks David and Lori for opening up you beautiful home for us to enjoy!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We just came home from a wonderful stay in this cabin! We took our 4 grandchildren and son-in-law for part of spring break. The cabin was exactly as describes, so very clean and worked perfectly for us. Everyone had a bed and they were all so comfortable! The kids loved the indoor pool and the hot tub! The owners were so helpful with directions and suggestions for our time, we simply could not have been more pleased. I would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family and we will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this wonderful cabin for a long weekend with friends and family. Lori and David were wonderful to work with as we had to change our week and they were very accommodating. Communication was excellent and instructions for use of the cabin were spelled out clearly with a wonderful explanation about specifics in the cabin. We loved the two fireplaces, the hot tub, the fact that there was basically a separate living area downstairs where we could separate our family from the other guests. My son is a chef so we enjoyed his cooking the entire weekend and we were pleasantly surprised to have nice pots and pans as well as a chef knife for chopping! Thanks, David and Lori, for getting those. We own a timeshare and normally stay there so we were surprised to have paper plates, napkins, etc. in the cabinet as we never have those in the timeshare. The proximity to everything in Pigeon Forge was wonderful -- 5 minutes from Kroger, so we just went there as needed instead of ending up with lots of extra food. Throughout the weekend, we tried every available sleeping area and they all slept well, including the small couch in the reading nook. I noticed there were puzzles, though we didn't take the time to put one together -- thought that was a nice touch. We did use the Netflix account -- that was a great amenity! We went to Wilderness Resort to swim (you can't normally go there unless you're staying there, but I had won some free passes -- wouldn't recommend unless you have children as we were all adults and had to stand in line 45 minutes for the larger slides), used a Groupon to LazerPort dark light miniature golf, and had one meal out at The Peddler (one of our favorite steakhouses in Gatlinburg). There was an indoor pool and games, etc. in the building just across the drive, but we ran out of time and didn't get to use those. I could go on and on about this wonderful place, but suffice it to say that friends are staying there this weekend, so we definitely recommend it! Thanks for a wonderful time!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: Our family purchased this cabin as a personal getaway but are thrilled to share it with other great folks! We live in North Georgia, so we obviously LOVE the mountains! We find Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to be very family-friendly and have enjoyed all our short and long vacations there! The Wi-Fi throughout the cabin is especially nice when you have jobs like our's that are a little hard to get away from!!
Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge:
We have been vacationing in Pigeon Forge with our children for several years. It is a convenient drive from our home and we've come to view PF as a 2nd home!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We enjoy access to all of PF's great attractions - with two children we've been to Dollywood quite a few times and still LOVE it! But one of our favorite things to do is bring groceries, cook on the grill and just take it easy. You know, the way you never seem to be able to do at home!! :)
