Great, spacious, cabin for small and large groups to get away, rest, and refresh. Away from the touristy parts of the Smokies/Cherokee National Forest area. Very rural. The cabin is well-stocked with all the necessities, but be sure to bring any special food and beverage preferences, because shopping is limited in the area unless you drive about 30 minutes. The cabin has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as upper and lower-level kitchens and living spaces. We had the range of ages in our group (ages: 1-66) and there was something for everyone. The cabin also included Wi-Fi, which was great, since there is no 3G/4G coverage. Cell phones did not work there. So we communicated with other through Facebook and email via Wi-Fi. Cabin is close to one of the most beautiful drives, the 165 Skyway, at Tellico Plains, TN. Renting through VBRO was very easy, and Pam was responsive and helpful. Thanks to the owners for opening up their cabin to us for a great family time together.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I can happily recommend this cabin to anyone with a group up to 17 people. Everything was just as advertised and the owners have thought of everything for your convenience. The photos are accurate. The owners/property manager was very easy to work with and very accomodating. The property has plenty of bedrooms and restrooms, two kitchens (one on the main floor and one in the basement) and 2 spacious areas to spread out and watch tv. The porches are nice and spacious. We did not leave the cabin, so we don't know what is available nearby, but it seems to be a plus if you enjoy hiking. Only two negatives: 1 - the driveway leading to the cabin is rough and bumpy. It could use several loads of gravel. You can make it in family car/van, but if you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, you may want to consider bringing it. 2 - The television on the main floor is small. Our family came from three states to bring in the new year (2012). Our time at the cabin was very nice and, if the opportunity presented itself, we would gladly return for another visit. Therefore, we can highly recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for your glowing review! We will be addressing the driveway issues as soon as we can get all of the homeowners together. We have been looking for a new tv for upstairs but my husband has to research it to death before deciding! We will have a larger television soon. I hope you will come visit Cocobelle Ridge again.
