You can catch a lot at Riverbend in Welaka, Florida. Whether it's the amazing sunsets from the porch, a stringer full of crappie, brim, or bass, or the outstanding southern hospitality from others, there is always something for everyone.
This traditional southern community is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and easy-going lifestyle. The immediate area around Welaka and Ocklawaha River is abundant with nature trails and wildlife for those who may enjoy the great outdoors. If, however, you want something with a bit more excitement the popular Orlando Attractions, Daytona Beach, or historic St. Augustine are only short drives away. Our condo is uniquely situated on the St. Johns River and the beginning of Little Lake George. This allows for one of the few completely unobstructed views of this mesmerizing location.
The condominium is comprised of: One King Bedroom with Cable TV (far enough away from the living space for a quiet retreat), two twin Murphy beds within the living space, sofa (adequate to sleep one adult), linens provided, one bathroom with a combination tub/shower (includes hairdryer), fully equipped kitchen, dining room, screened porch.
We purchased the condo unit as a retreat for us and our family. Over the years, its provided a lot to all of us: sometimes a much needed getaway and quiet sanctuary, a family holiday, a meeting place for extended family we may not often see, great outdoor activities for the younger crowd, and often that much needed break to reconnect with that special someone in your life. Whatever it may be your looking for, we are sure the relaxing and rejuvenating southern hospitality along with everything this magical area has to offer will make you want to return again and again.
