We used this unit as a home base with a rental car. It was in a good location and parking on the street was very easy as long as you were parked by 5:30pm (parking is free from 6pm to 7am) after that you will pay $3 for 2 hrs or you might have to park around the corner in the public parking garage to avoid the $30 per day parking fee. (although we were always able to find street parking even after 8pm) The condo was in great shape and has everything a family of 4-5 would need. We went to the Walmart which is about 1/2 mile away and bought food on the first day and stocked the kitchen. That way we could eat breakfast in the unit, pack lunches, and snacks for the kids to eat during our stay. The freezer even had blue ice packs to keep your food cold on the go. The beach at Waikiki is a easy 10 minute walk or a $5 cab ride; but we did not really go there much during the day.However, we did go down there almost every evening for sunset dinners, which are awesome! Some of the restaurants we ate at were Roy's, Dukes, and the Ocean House. Roy's is not on the beach but has outstanding service and food.(Get the pineapple upside down cake!!) Also try a slushie @ Rainbow Drive-In.(great food & cheap!) The beaches that we went to were Kailua, Lanikai, Turtle Bay, and Hanauma Bay; if going to Hanauma Bay; get there early!! Trust me on this, we had the place to our selfs from 7am to about 9am with incredable snorkeling! On a different note; the condo is extremly close to great shopping that includes all the high end stores and International Market Place which has your tourist stuff. The only thing that did disappoint me a little was the pool has no jacuzzi. However, the condo did have these gold stripped towels that allowed you to go the Outrigger Reef Hotel and use their pool which is right on the beach at Waikiki. Over all I would totally recommend this condo to a couple or a family. The staff is great! and very helpful even though your're staying in one of the private condos. If you go to the North Shore you must eat at Ted's bakery in Sunset Beach, the Filipino fruit stand by turtle bay, and "Killer Tacos" in Hale'iwa. Also for a once in lifetime experience; take a shark tour @ North Shore Shark Adventures. I took my 6 year old son into the shark cage and all I can say is "incredible"!!! 30 to 40 sharks (5'-8' long) swimming around us and coming with in 2' of the cage. A must do!! P.S> Hazel- the manager is extremly easy to work with & prompt with responces. (:

Excellent condo for vacation in Honolulu. The location is great - easy walk to Waikiki. The facility was just right with the washer/dryer in the unit being a great bonus. Concierge for the motel got us a great tour for Pearl Harbor. Worked great for two couples and would recommend it to a friend. Parking in the area is not good , wish we would have skipped the rental car for the area since we really didn't need it.

This property was a great base for our family of four to explore Oahu. While it isn't on the beach, it is located in a quieter area of Waikiki a few blocks from the beach area, and a reasonable walk to restaurants and Ala Moana Shopping Centre. The photos and description are very accurate, and the condo is spacious and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, the property is very clean and well-maintained, and the two large lanais provide nice city and ocean views. The property management is very responsive, and booking and check-in processes were very good. The pool area looked a bit small, but we didn't use it because we preferred going to the beach. All in all, it was excellent value for our needs, and I would recommend it to my friends.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. We really liked the location as it was close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Because of the location we were able to park on the road just across from the building for free. The condo itself was great, the kitchen was nice to have, the pool was nice with lots of lounge chairs available. The only reason I don't give it an excellent rating is because the WiFi was hit or miss as the signal wasn't very good. But otherwise was a great spot to stay and would recommend it.

We had a good stay in this unit. It was very good size for a 1 bedroom. Was a nice location in the building with 2 lanai's. Overall no problems and owner was flexible allowing us for a late checkout which was appreciated. We were unable to locate the remote control for the DVD player.

Spent 10 days at the condo. Very clean, comfotable and spacious with everything that you would need. In a good location close to beaches, stores and restaurants. If you are just staying in Waikiki there would be no need for a car. Bus stops just a block away. If you like walking go to San Souci beach towards Diamond Head. Ate at Dukes and the Hula Grill. Also check out the restaurants in the department stores at Ala Moana. We loved Mariposa, although a little more pricey. Don't forget to walk through the Royal Hawaiian and the Moana Surfrider. Have an Island coffee at Island Vintage Coffee. If you do get a car go to Lanikai and Kailua, lovely beaches and much quieter. Yes, we would come back and yes we would recommend the condo. The staff at the Wyndham were great and thanks Hazel for making everything so easy and being there if we needed you!

We thought this condo would be the perfect answer for our needs on Oahu and it was. A surprise around every corner and close to everything. No worries if no car. Waikiki is just a short 3 blocks or so walk away. Park and Museum on the way there. But quality shopping is even closer! A lot of places to eat but you can buy some basics too - just down the block at the ABC Store. Clean and comfortable. Nice views and out of Tsunami Warning area (just in case that is a concern because if was for our stay!) Loved having laundry in our condo. Thanks for a great bargain. We had a car and parked in a variety of locations. Mostly $5 a night in a lot across the street. Plugged a meter once and valet for $25 for 24 hours twice in our week stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, very spacious, had A/C, in unit laundry, had a nice kitchen and a large living room. This place can easily fit 4 people and the large living room makes a great hang out spot. The door is key code access so you don't have to bring around a set of keys. Hazel who was the property manager was excellent in answering all questions via phone and email. She went above and beyond in helping us move into this place since we had a wedding to attend on move in day and also helped us with a later checkout when we left. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would come again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was central, the photos were accurate, and the in unit washer and dryer was a huge bonus to us. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The property was well maintained. My only frown is the bathroom smelled a little moldy like the fan wasn't strong enough. I would recommend changing the shower curtain since it is fabric and that seemed to be the origin of the smell. Other than that, I am already recommending this unit to friends.

I had the pleasure of staying in unit 1400 for 12 days ,Having stayed in Waikiki 3 times before and being a middle age gay man who appreciates nice accommodations and some value for my traveling dollar, My expectations for the accommodations where not very high as Oahu has a lot of old and overpriced Hotels/Condos ,This unit and hotel far exceeded my expectations . The unit is very large and all of the furnishings where of good quality and very comfortable .The hotel and especially the lobby is sparkling clean and very grand ,Hotel staff could not have been more friendly or proffesional I was delighted by the views from the balconies ,During the day turning the chairs 45 degrees you get a great ocean view and also of Fort Derussey from both of the balconies and then at night all the lights of Waikiki I think this unit is perfect for a couple or a family with 2 children can easily be accommodated with the day and trundle beds with all having high quality linens for a good nights sleep. The owners of this unit have thoughtfully thought of everything you could need in the kitchen so it was great to prepare a few meals and also the use of the bbq by the pool was very nice. ( The food pantry was a good place to by groceries and sundries) The location of this property is and easy 10-15 mins walk to Waikiki with lots of shops and attractions along the way so you are there before you know it and to be honest Waikiki is fun to go down to but after a while it is really nice to get away from the craziness of of it . A great beach to go to is through the park at the end of the street 7mins walk walk straight up to the Hilton Lagoon ,perfect beach. Finally a big Thank you to Hazel at Bridge rentals for all of your help and professionalism ,You made the rental of this unit very easy .Your company is very lucky to have someone representing them so well ...Looking forward to my return David. ps A good place to eat is at Dukes ,worth the 45 min wait ,salad bar is awesome!! Unfortunately the Revolving restaurant should be called the revolting restaurant that is way too expensive !! .

We had a great time on Oahu and this place is a great place to stay. The location was great. Just at the North end of Waikiki. It is within an easy walk of restaurants, beaches, and shops. The condo is a very spacious one bedroom. I would happily stay again.

Great Condo in a great location

The condo was exactly as portrayed in the photos and had everything you need. The bellhops were always very courteous and elevators were fairly responsive compared to other properties we have stayed at in Waikiki. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the couch and loveseat. There are an air conditioner in both the living room and the bedroom, but we rarely used them. Since there were sliding glass doors on both ends of the unit, you always got a good cross breeze by opening both. A plus was the washer and dryer in the unit and we used them throughout our stay. Perhaps the biggest plus of this unit was the two lanais which provide views of both the ocean and the mountains. The complex was always very quiet and we would definitely recommend it, especially because of the bargain price! Also of note, the street noise is much less than staying in one of the hotel complexes on Kalakaua.

Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Very clean upgrade from a "hotel room". Nice location, but a little effort is required to get around Waikiki which was fine with us since we like walking and discovering new things. Condo was spacious and extremely comfortable for the two of us. Probably would be great for up to four adults or a mid-sized family Equal to a 3 1/2 to 4 star hotel rating. Very professionally managed booking system and accurately done in every detail. Great value for Waikiki!

I recently stayed in the condo and enjoyed every minute of it. We were a party of two and had plenty of room to spread out. I would recommend this unit for any couple or parents with one or two kids. {probably not for two couples as the second and third beds are between the kitchen and living room area. The pictures and description were very accurate. The owners were very responive and helpful during the reservation process. The building itself was very nice and well maintained, onsite staff was very helpful with directions, recomendations calling taxis etc. We both remarked several times at how please we were with the unit itself. It was nicely appointed and well stocked with kitchen utensils pots and pans etc. A good value for sure!!! I would certainbly stay here again!!! Short simple walk to Waikiki Beach and all it has to offer....

We had a wonderful stay in Oahu, and the condo was a big part of it. It was so clean, and the location was marvelous. The two balconies were so nice, especially as we were a family of four. We could get up early and enjoy our coffee without disturbing our two teenagers, who like to sleep in. Having a great view of the Friday night fireworks was an added bonus! The master bed was oh-so-comfortable, a true haven to come back to after a long day of sunning or sightseeing. Definitely would recomment this condo!

We enjoyed the size and location of this unit very much. It certainly felt like home away from home. Loved being able to do laundry before repacking (brought my own soap). The owner was great to deal with and very accommodating to our request for extra time because of a late day departure. Bed was soft and comfortable.Had a great stay. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wanting to visit Waikiki but not be in the center of all the actively full time. Easy walk to the beach and hub of activity.

Aloha, we just spent 9 days at this unit....not nearly long enough, will definitely return. Everything was as described in the write-up and the photos were accurate. The unit was spacious, clean and well stocked. We were welcomed with a tasty macadamia treat. It was a great experience from the first contact. All questions were answered in a timely manner which is so important when you are trying to plan last minute holidays.During our stay we had follow-up contact to see if everything was going well, thank you for that. Our favourite feature was the two balconies, just relaxing and enjoying the views. The friendliness of the staff itself is second to none. The pool and barbecue area a treat! The location is close enough to all the action but far enough away to get some serenity. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone and having now said that....alas....it will probably never be available for our time frame again. Thank you, big bouquet, we loved it. We go to Hawaii every year and this time we stayed here, June 2011, location is perfect, just off the Waikiki main strip which also means very close to the beach. The apartment is the biggest we have stayed in yet, it has everything you need, washer and dryer, all kitchen appliances, a massive bathroom and to top it off it's amazing decor and extra comfortable beds! There are 2 lanais both with stunning views and you can even watch the fireworks the Hilton put on every night which is so amazing. Overall my stay here was the best yet. I can't wait to go back.
