Our pristine two story beach house is located on Fairway Drive in the town of Bethany Beach. It's just four blocks from the ocean and a very easy walk or bike ride into Bethany. The house is located on the eastern most street of Bethany West, so you have access to two pools and tennis courts. (A beautiful lap pool and tennis courts are located just steps from our house.) Our street is quiet, beachy, and safe for children riding bikes, and our yard is sunny and grassy. The library and Catholic Church are right up the block, and the Bethany town trolley stops every 30 minutes on our corner -- great for transporting little kids and beach gear.
The house is a charming, two-story "salt box" with two bedrooms downstairs and two huge bedrooms upstairs. Large full baths are on each floor. The downstairs bath has a luxurious jacuzzi tub and separate stall shower. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and cable TV. The second downstairs bedroom has two twin beds. Upstairs, you can sleep vacationers in all sorts of combinations, as one bedroom has two queen beds, and the other has four twin beds. The kitchen is bright and modern, the living room is full of charming comfortable furniture and has cable TV, and the sun porch off of the kitchen has a huge dining room table that seats twelve easily.
The entire house is freshly painted in light summer colors. We have two-zone central air and a convenient laundry room. Outside, there are two decks with nice seating areas and a fabulous private outdoor shower (open to the sky) which everyone loves! The house is great for families with children and perfect for two families to share. |
