We spent five wonderful days on this beautiful property. The water is so clear - boating and exploring was very enjoyable. I found my first sea biscuit walking knee deep in these waters. The house is open - always a breeze and a view.

About: My husband and I share ownership with his brother. We live on the eastern shore of Maryland and my brother-in-law lives in Baltimore. We go to Hopetown for family escapes, birthdays, family reunions and any other excuse we can find. We have had holidays such as Thanksgiving there too.
My Aunt and Uncle discovered Hopetown from a sailboat which they kept moored in the harbour. There was no electricity, internet or telephone service. Since then they bought a house downtown in the settlement next to the church. They came for months at a time and many other family members have come for honeymoons, vacations and to live. My family has various property throughout the Abacos as we love it.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I have always loved the pristine colors of the Ocean in the Caribbean and cannot imagine spending my time at a resort with a long walk from a hotel room to a crowded beach. This doesn't get any more ideal. The people are friendly and helpful. You can buy fresh baked goods, seafood or get some yourself !!
