  I came to stay at this spacious cabin Mother's Day weekend/my husband's birthday weekend and it was a perfect place for a family getaway. It's about 25 ft from the lake with its own dock, bbq grill, hammock and screened in porch with enough rocking chairs for everyone :). The owner was easy to work with and our stay was really nice.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  My daughter was married in the DoubleHead Lodge and we stayed in this cabin which was right next door to the Lodge. This cabin was not only very lovely but in a very convenient location for us as we were decorating the lodge for the wedding. I would recommend this cabin to everybody. It was also very convenient to the convention center at DoubleHead where we had the rehersal dinner and bonfire. A great weekend stay.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The stay here was very peaceful and relaxing for us on a much needed get-away. Very quiet. Great kitchen and cookware. The cabin is very clean and beds very comfortable. The fireplace and screened in porch was outstanding. Breathtaking view of the sunrise that we could not walk away from. Thanks Minnie, we will definitely be back!

  A business associate and I chose to stay on Wilson Lake during a trip to Florence, AL. The cabin turned-out to be a great choice vs. a hotel in many respects; especially the cost. Our downtime was very relaxing with the feel of home. We couldn’t have been happier with the arrangements.

  My family and I stayed here the week of the fourth of July, and had a wonderful time. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. My children had a great time and said they would love to come back and we certainly will. We had plenty of privacy with it being on a dead end. I had to contact the owner a few times before we made our resorvations for questions and she was a complete joy to work with and was extremely helpful. We will be back!

  Cabin was clean and nice, pictures are very accurate, it's a beautiful and peaceful spot on the lake. The screened in porch was a wonderful bonus! We played on the RTJ Golf Courses, which are only 15 minutes away. Rented a pontoon boat and toured the lake. Will definitely recommend this property to family and friends, and hope to pass through Alabama again sometime, would love to go back! The owner was helpful and answered all my questions very promptly.

  Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake with plenty of activities for all ages. Loved the screened porch! Great assistance from housekeeping staff for minor request! Responsive, helpful owner helped in planning our trip even though she herself was on vacation! We recommend that you definitely check out this rental if you are in their neighborhood!!

  Absolutely wonderful. Peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed visiting downtown Florence and surrounding areas, then coming back to enjoy the dock and screened porch at the end of the day!! Hope to go back soon! Many thanks for a wonderful stay! JM

  Upon entering this spacious cabin located in Double Head Resort....we were immediately taken by the decorations, deck, screened in porch etc..... The fire place is gorgeous! You are just steps from the lake with it's own private dock, picnic area and grill! A truly gorgeous quiet, peaceful place to stay and enjoy your family whether it be a summer weekend trip or a weeks stay! The place is immaculate! Horse back riding, fishing, volley ball....beautiful pool on site... Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room....all very spacious for you and your family! Our family had such a wonderful time with our sons this past weekend! It was a very memorable time for us and we plan to make it a yearly event with our family every March! Thank you again! Our stay was the best! :)
