This charming New England Colonial home sits on three and a half acres of private property overlooking the historic village of Mystic and its harbor with many marinas, restaurants, the Mystic Seaport Museum and Marine Life Aquarium.

Walk to downtown where a famous annual Art Festival takes place. Sit in the Riverside park and watch the historical landmark bascule bridge rise every hour to let the many sailing schooners and other pleasure boats pass by. Visit the Mystic Seaport museum and take an evening cruise on the steam powered boat of the past
Paint the waterfront, boatyards, marinas or other sea scenes along with many other native artists.

Close by is the Mystic Seaport Museum, Marine Life Aquarium, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Hotels/Casinos. Other choices a short drive away are The Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, Dennison Homestead, Gillette Castle, Goodspeed Opera House, Ivoryton Playhouse, Chamard and Stonington Vineyards, Haight Winery, Florence Griswold Museum, Children's Museum, Connecticut River Museum, Nautilus Submarine Museum, Mashuntucket Pequot Indian Museum, Foxwoods Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino, Newport RI. Mansions, Stonington Village and Lighthouse Museum and ferries to Block Island or Fisher's Island.

There is also frequent Amtrak train service to Boston or New York City from The Mystic Depot.

We are just up the hill on the Groton side from downtown Mystic. About a 10 minute walk (1000 yards ). We have a large brick patio just off the kitchen with a patio table, 2 park benches and 6 chairs and BBQ grill. The house has 3 bedrooms with doubles in 2 bedrooms and a new queen in the master bedroom. a bathroom downstairs and full bath upstairs.. The house is equipped with just about everything and we have many rentals in the summmer because Mystic is a great village to visit year round. Downtown parking is a problem on weekends but we are in walking distance as you go out the back gate down the rear driveway..we require 50% deposit for a firm commitment and the balance when you arrive. someone is there to greet you and fill you in on the restaurants and things to do in the Mystic area..
