Where do we start. We stayed at this house the last two weeks of June and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. The house is in perfect condition with new appliances and a new deck. The air conditioning worked great in the 90+ degree weather. The water from the door in the fridge was almost bottled water quality. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the early morning and late evening. The dock is in calm, deep water and only a few steps from the house. There is plenty of parking on the concrete driveway. The owners Rita and Nick are top notch people and went above and beyond when we had van trouble upon our arrival. Being at the 22 mile marker in a quiet cove makes daily cruises on the lake balanced between heading to the dam or to Ha Ha Tonka. All and all I would rate this house A+. Thanks Rita and Nick for a great Vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was the perfect place for our family which included my sister and her husband and our adult children. There is plenty of room for the older and younger generations to separate to do their own thing or for all to get together and have a family meal. We did not have a boat but we lounged, swam and fished off the dock which was very relaxing. The multiple levels of docks with the tables also made it very great to enjoy the property with all ages. The cove was very quiet and we were fairly close to shopping and all the necessities we needed. Rita, the owner was very accommodating..Everything in the house and outside was clean and well maintained. She was very sensitive to our needs before we arived. I would recommend this property to anyone instead of renting a condo. Much more to offer for the price!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

We enjoyed the property for our client relations event with my VIP guests. Our guests were very impressed with the home, the deck, the dock, the location, etc. Everyone had a great time, and the home easily accomodated 4 couples. Rita provided everything we needed, and her recomendations for on and off the water dining were terrific. Bring your boat! The large open dock well was perfect for our vessel and your only a minute or two idle to the open waters of the main channel. Meanwhile when docked, not a single wake makes it into the back of the cove. No worries about damage from waves. Simply Awesome Home!! More than what they ever expected for a rental home. Quite cove with great neighbors. Property is well maintained and exceptionally clean. Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
I did not purchase this property for rental purposes. My previous employer sold the company after 30 yrs. The new investors reorganized and cut management and sales personnel as a standard practice. This was a big hit to my income and I was the one who maintained the Lake Home. I was concerned about loosing the lake property so decided to try summer rental to make ends meet. I was extremely successful last year with wonderful tenants and decided to continue renting for awhile longer.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
From the comfort of the sun porch you can enjoy coffee early in the morning and watching the early morning activities of the birds, fish and early risers in the cove. Very relaxing ....this time provides a great get- a-way from the daily rush of the city. My neighbors are the best!! We have a very family friendly enviroment and all want to keep our homes and the cove like that.
