  Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo during the resent Christmas and New Year holiday. It is in a quiet corner of the island just like we wanted and has everything you will need. It really felt like a home away from home and it was very clean, new, and beautiful! Thank you for letting us use your wonderful home!

  We just returned from Maui yesterday. We were looking for a place where we could relax as a family and "recharge" after a pretty stressful year. The location was ideal for us. Kahana is a little more quiet than some other areas. Not as much traffic (foot or car) as some other coastal areas. It's a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina, for some excellent shopping and dining. We had a great time. If you are looking for an area with similar goals, I would highly recommend Kahana. The condo itself was very nice. We took our 2 sons who are 16 and 18. The loft bed was a little small for our 16 year old, but he managed. The spare bed would work for sleeping 2, if that was an issue but with our boys, that wasn't happening! The condo was very clean. We were a little cramped but we were on the go quite a bit, so that wasn't a big issue for us at all. We had a couple VERY minor issues arise and Jill went out of her way to take care of them (and then some). I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing vacation. The residents were very respectful and quiet. We had a really great time and can't wait to return.   We recently stayed at Hale Mala Hina and were very impressed with the amenities, spatial configuration, attention to detail and overall cleanliness of the condo. The price/quality ratio of this unit by far supersedes other rental oportunities we came across in Maui so we highly recommend it! Jill was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with! Would definitely return - Mahalo!

  Perfect for a get away or a long term stay vacation. The location of this unit is in the quiet, but fun town of Kahanna. It was a very scenic drive to the condo from the airport, as you can't go wrong with the ocean being next to you at all times. The property is exactly how it looks in the pictures. My wife and I actually like it so much, we took pictures of the unit to try an mirror some of the decor at our home. It was very clean, spacious enough for a family and most importantly quiet for ultimate relaxation. We enjoyed cooking in their well-equipped kitchen and eating on the lanai. The condo is a short drive to the grocery store (3-4 min). The unit is a short walk across the street to the beach and another short drive to one of the many public beaches for some fun Boogie Boarding. We rented a car for our trip and the unit had an assigned parking spot for our car. We always felt safe and even slept with the door and lanai open for a breezy, calm sleep. The bed was very, very comfortable and made me feel like I was at home while on vacation. We used the entertainment system to listen music while we were at the unit and the television set-up was easy to operate. You are about a 15 min drive to the shopping mall in Lahaina. We found it perfect because we could go shopping there, but leave the busy part of the city behind. I also recommend trying the Maui Brewing Company, which is basically right behind the condo. The food was great, but they are known for their island brewed refreshments. Lastly, this is the first time my wife and I rented from VRBO. We HIGHLY recommend this site and especially this unit. The property unit manager was extremely helpful, very responsive and the owners were more than accommodating. We were very blessed to have found this place and for how helpful the property manager and owners were too make our stay fantastic. If you are looking for a place to stay in Maui, rest assured you will be very happy with this unit.

  Our stay at Hale Mala Hina was a perfect fit for our family. We have 3 kids (ages 8, 12, and 13) and the condo had everything we needed. The owners did a great job on the decor and the layout. The kitchen was well-equiped and the BBQ on site was a clean stainless steel grill, perfect for grilling the filet mignon we picked up at Costco! We ate 1/2 our meals in the condo, so having all the tools made it like home. The kids would fight every night on who got to sleep on the loft bed. The king bed was very comfortable, like sleeping at home. We ate dinners out on the lanai, and watched the sunsets. We used the condo as homebase as we tend to be pretty active. During our 8 days we took surf lessons with Goofy Foot in Lahaina, took the Pride of Maui for a snorkeling trip to Molokini, went boogie boarding at DT Fleming and Kaanapali, snorkeling to see turtles at Honolau Bay, and Kaanapali Skyline Adventure zipline. It was great to come home to a comfy condo and relax. We look forward to our return to Maui and staying at Hale Mala Hina!

  This was a very nicely appointed and equiped condo. close access to a decent beach (3-4) blocks. pool was small but adequate and the grounds were well maintained. most were fulltime occupants and the complex was quiet. maui Brewing company next door with good pub food

  We just spent 8 days in this very comfortable, pretty, well-done condo. We had five people - family of four and my brother and found it to be really perfect. Loved the beds - they were wonderful, truly. Even the upstairs loft twin was cozy and comfortable and perfect for my 9 year old daughter. My son slept on the couch and said he slept well each night. Everything was well-equipped, and we really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs and cooking supplies. We even used the grill near the pool a few evenings. We enjoyed eating on the lanai several nights and enjoyed the lanai daily - even in the rain! Location was good and it was just a quick walk across the quiet street to the ocean. I was surprised to get a good glimpse of the ocean from the lanai as well. All in all we found this condo to be a great place to stay and we come back again.

  When we walked in for the first time , we were so happy that it was so beautiful. The condo was set up perfectly for everything needed for a great holiday. The decor was ultra modern, they spared no expense on anything.. It was so clean,and the views were amazing. I would definatley stay here again. Loved it! The pool was so close and just a short walk to the beach. It's true , you don't really need to use the A/C at all, it does cool off at night in this location. We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to friends. It's actually quiet at night and lots of restaurants available near by. I already miss it. Hope to come back soon!

  This was our first trip to Maui with our 11 and 14 year old daughters. It was really important for our family to find a place that was spacious, comfortable and convenient. We arrived later in the evening and drove approximately 45 minutes from the airport to our condo in the Kahana area. Upon arriving, we couldn't believe how beautifully decorated and spacious our new home was! (we are calling it our home because it feels that way now!) Everything about our condo exceeded our expectations and just wanted to thank you for providing the perfect accomodations for our family of four on our first trip to Maui! Thanks again! The Bailey's

  My family and I just spent our first "Maui Christmas" at this wonderful Kahana condo. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and we felt "at home" as soon as we walked in the door. I won't hesitate to recommend this property. The decor and furnishings were perfect and we very much enjoyed the collection of Blu-Ray movies and the surround system. When we weren't swimming or snorkeling, we watched movies or sat out on the lanai reading or dining. It's centrally located (restaurants, deli) and just a short walk to the beach. Our favorite deli on all of Maui is only a few minutes away, Honokowai Okazuya & Deli (you've got to eat here at least once).

  This unit is even nicer than the pictures portray. This quiet, peaceful setting is hard to describe. The amenities and furnishings are first class and the condo was spotless upon our arrival. The décor is truly relaxing and felt like our home away from home. We started most mornings with breakfast on the lanai where you know "you're on vacation". The fully equipped kitchen will satisfy even experienced cooks. In addition a professional grade gas BBQ grill is available for use. For dining out there are many excellent restaurants available. There are several beautiful beaches within walking and short driving distance and the owners have graciously provided beach chairs, towels and mats. If you're adventurous try zip-lining with Kapalua Adventures and/or learn to surf at the Goofy Foot Surf School. We can't wait to go back.
