Walking in to this house for the first time, I got such a warm and welcomed feeling. The house is absolutely beautiful, nicely decorated exactly how you picture a cabin to look. We were able to cook with ease - everything we needed was available, and then some! Staying in the winter, it was so nice having a garage for both of our groups. The house was super clean. I can be somewhat of a germ-a-phobe when it comes to staying in hotels, but I had no problems at this house! The owners were great to work with, and had a book of things to do and see during the stay. We discovered the Flying Saddle Resort's restaurant. We also went snowmobiling with Rockin M Ranch in Alpine, and had an amazing day. There is just something about being out in the mountains, riding along the river, seeing all sorts of elk, foxes, even a moose! The whole trip was an amazing experience. We want to go back in the summer time for fly fishing and rafting, and won't think twice about where we are staying. A+!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, along with two other couples, just returned from a week-long stay in this beautiful log home. We loved every minute of our trip! The home is spacious, yet cozy, while at the same time providing beautiful new amenities throughout. We cooked almost all of our meals in the fully-stocked kitchen and even used the barbeque grill a couple of times. We found everything to be clean, comfortable, and in perfect working order. We especially enjoyed having two porches with nice outdoor furniture to relax on and soak up the views. While we intended to spend most of our trip sightseeing in Yellowstone and Jackson, we discovered the western side of the Tetons and fell in love with the beautiful red maple trees and small towns in this area. We enjoyed golfing at Targhee Village, hiking down Grand Targhee ski hill, a magnificant hike to Palisade Lake along Palisade Creek, and a tour of the Grand Teton Brewery in Victor, ID - all of this only 30 minutes max from the house. We also took short walks into the town of Alpine for breakfasts at The Nordic Inn and The Yankee Doodle Cafe. There is also a nice market in town, not far from the house, where you can find most anything you would want to cook. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. We look forward to coming back when there is snow, but also to returning during their wonderful fall season.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a luxury log cabin, tastefully decorated with a designer western motif, hardwoods, and granite kitchen. The owners were very professional and provided luxury linens, soaps, and plenty of spices for the kitchen. They even provided some toys, a high chair, lawn chairs & BBQ. I would recommend this location for those who will be boating at Palisades or rafting or kayaking the lower Snake River Canyon. It's about 4 miles from the "pull-out" and 12 miles from West Table, the "put in" location. It is a little drive to the town of Jackson (about 30 min), but the rental price was much lower than you would pay in town, so it may be worth it, even if you aren't a rafter. It's another 30 min or so from Jackson town to Jenny Lake, etc. The drive was beautiful, so we didn't mind the extra time getting into the National Park, especially when we could stay in such a nice place.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We just completed our visit to this amazing home and we all loved every minute of it. The home, especially the kitchen, is completely stocked with everything you could possibly need which made our packing for the holiday weekend much lighter than normal. In spite of the unusually wet Memorial weekend this year, we had a marvelous family gathering in Star Valley - due largely to the size and comforts of this home. We found everything to be clean and very well kept, beds were very comfortable and the beautiful views of nature out of every window just added to the experience. My only suggestion would be to take some additional photos of the kitchen. It is much larger than what the photo led us to believe. The fun welcoming gift basket just added a "cherry on top" to an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Having access to the garage and the use of the garage opener made the bad weather issues much less of a problem. Their great location makes any trip to the market or restaurants just minutes away. Two favorites comments from my grand daughters were: They LOVED the play space under the stairs and being able to go to the loft to watch TV and play their games were the Best!! They hated to pack to come home as much as the adults. Highly Recommend this home away from home if your are going to be in the Star Valley or Jackson area and need a place to stop and enjoy this corner of "God's Country".Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house is everything you need plus more. We have traveled to several VRBO destinations around the country and this property has it all. From the luxury kitchen to the spacious family room our family absolutely loved our stay. This amazing log home is brand new, super clean, and packed with amenities’! The entire family including our young children did not want to leave. Our seven year old actually asked if we could have this house moved to our home town! We took full advantage of the surrounding area with sledding, horseback riding, Jackson Hole sightseeing, and Yellowstone! The owners of the home were very friendly and helpful with making our stay perfect. We have actually been to this home twice and plan on visiting this property again very soon. This is a getaway is a must if you are planning to be in the area.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
