We came to Salt Lake City for an Independence Day show @ the USANA Amphitheatre as well as seeing local attractions. The Sugarhouse location just can't be beat. It seemed everything we wanted to do was within 5-15 minutes. Once you get the lay of the land it is easy breezy to go anywhere. The house was very nice. We arrived late (after dark) entry was easy and lots of instructions around the house help out. The kitchen is cozy but all amenities are there. We had a large group so we filled the refer/freezer quickly so you might want an ice chest (we did) with a large group that planned on cooking lots of meals. The street in front of the house is relatively busy but we were never aware of traffic noise. House was well insulated. There is a basement - so if you stand 6'3 or higher just be aware of doorways downstairs. :) The basement has 3 bathrooms plus the washer and dryer and great sleeping space. Also the stairway to the basement is a small angled stairway that takes a little practice. Kids love it though. I would recommend you save the two up-stairs bedrooms for seniors or disabled if that is part of your group. There is a large fenced in backyard great for letting kids run and play and extremely private if you wanted to get some sun. SLC requires you separate your trash (aluminum/plastic/cardboard) so keep that in mind if you are not accustomed to doing that where you live. Overall it was a great experience and the owners were exceptional to deal with. My oldest daughter accidentally left behind her journal and their housekeeper found it and they mailed it to us in a matter of days. Very kind, accomodating folks. The parks in the area are just spectacular. Consider making a visit to them as part of your trip. We have 10 children some of them are special needs so my wife has high standards when it comes to "safe" places for our kids- This was an excellent experience and we plan a return trip.

This was a great house for my friends and I to meet for a ski week. We loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms! We didn't think that we would all be able to stay together since there were so many girls coming and we were so excited to find this house. We all had such a great time skiing and we were very close to many ski resorts. We also enjoyed the area of Sugarhouse and downtown SLC. There were so many great restuarants and lots of shopping. We are already planning for another ski trip next year and we hope this house is available! Some of us want to come back to enjoy the some summer weather and do some golfing. We hope we can make that happen. Not only are the owners friendly and helpful but they also have several other vacation homes to meet anybodys needs.

We needed lots of sleeping space and bathrooms for several couples to get ready for a family wedding; we also needed a place to hang out between the wedding and the reception. This place was just what we needed! It was very charming. The listing photos accurately reflected the appearance and the amenities. The eating/cooking/ and gathering places are small for a five bedroom house, but for us that was fine! The yard was nice and big and the parking very adequate for all of our cars. The owner was great to work with; she answered all of my questions and was very helpful! I would recommend this property especially if you need lot of sleeping place and you all want is to be together and if you are not doing a lot of cooking/eating at the home. Overall a great experience!
