This working Avocado & Citrus Estate boasts over 4500 sq ft of indoor space PLUS multiple outdoor patios, verandas, lawns, private gated yards, an oversized classically designed pool & spa. The Outdoor Living space is set poolside with miles of views over the rural groves & countryside!

Most people believe the terms: 'rural' & 'Southern California' cannot coexist. I too thought it an impossible paradox! Seeing is believing! Being here is even better! You'll feel like you're entering into a 'Countryside Heaven' when you drive under the low slung 'Oak Canopy'. As you steer onto the property, you'll enter a long, uphill driveway & wind through our mature Avocado & citrus groves. Welcome Home!

The year-round mild 'Beach' weather bring the perfect Avocado grower's micro-climate. This beautiful paradox of 'SoCal + Rural' is soon to be your own NOW discovered paradise!

We are conveniently located only 18 miles from the Pacific Ocean (as the bird flys) and within a ONE HOUR drive of nearly all SoCal's best attractions!

Space? There's an abundance of SPACE--13+ acres...& over 4500 sq ft. We're located on a 4 mile road that has no other outlet therefore limiting traffic to only our neighbors. The area, called 'De Luz' ('of Light' in spanish), hosts a grouping of dozens of hidden Estate Homes in a private epicenter of Southern California.

You'll feel as though you're 1000 miles from civilization. However, our nearly undiscovered locale provides the best of both worlds!!! Our private, luxury, countryside estate is only 5 miles from Interstate 15 & the city center & Old Town of Temecula. You'll have access to every restaurant, service, & shopping imaginable!

Temecula wineries are known globally & only a short 15 minute drive down Rancho California road. Additionally, SoCal's 'Mini-Las Vegas', The Pechanga Resort & Casino is only a short 20 minute drive! Pechanga has made a name for itself as the largest & best & newest Native American Gaming facility on the West Coast!

San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County & the beaches...are all within an hour's drive. That puts you at about an hour's drive from the most famous attractions including:
-Disneyland, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Knotts, Universal Studios, Hollywood, beaches & even the Mexican Border!

If Golf is your game, the Temecula Valley hosts some of the Best (& year round) Courses in Golf:
-'Crosscreek' is nearly walking distance from the Estate (our country road dead-ends on the 4th fairway),
-'Pechanga' hosts PGA tour events,
-the 'SCGA' in Murrieta will challenge you,
-'Red Hawk's' setting & greens are stunning,
-...while these and another half dozen courses are less than 20 minute drive away!
If you're really up for a challenge, 'Torry Pines' (home of the Buick Open) is an hour drive south. Although it's a public course, make your reservations at least 3 months in advance.

Back at the Estate, The Main home includes;
-an oversized Master Bedroom & Bath,
-Plus a 2nd bedroom with a full bathroom.
-The Gourmet Kitchen boasts a center island, dual convection ovens, Glass 5 burner cooktop, dishwasher, compactor, pantry & all the things you'll need for a chef's paradise!

Moving outdoors, the covered outdoor living room will bring you hours of peaceful, poolside & spa relaxation. Enjoy the distant views of hillsides with miles of groves & estate homes. Or, watch a red & yellow sunset while you BBQ & watch the evening wildlife emerge...all while viewing a movie outdoors.

You may do as I often do...take a nap in the warm afternoon ocean-breeze before a relaxing dip in the 102 degree Jacuzzi...all while watching football or the evening news! Read a book poolside.
Eat Chips & Fresh Guacamole (from fresh picked Avo's) while sipping on a fresh squeezed Greyhound or Screwdriver made from Pink grapefruit or Oranges...even lemons...that were hanging on a tree only minutes before!

You'll hear nothing but the warm breeze blowing through the groves and the call of the occasional Red-tailed hawk, California Quail, squirrel or Coyote.

Although this is our primary residence, we may not be present during your stay. However not-to-worry...in our absence our care-taker is available to provide for any maintenance needs that our guests may have. If we are 'in town' during your stay, we have a separate, private entry/exit 'Casita' (mini-house) that we occupy during our guest's stay. Therefore, we rarely see our guests unless there's a friendly wave on the driveway.

This friendly, rural, private area of estate homes & rolling hills, provides for multiple hillside homes with views across Camp Pendleton to the ocean. It is full of beauty and peace. Most neighbors live on gated properties & are professionals, retirees and/or avocado, citrus or wine growers. All the local estate homes are on properties set on 5 or 10 acre minimums, therefore each home can be seen, but is nearly out of 'earshot'

JUST WHERE IS THIS ESTATE PROPERTY?
No public transit is available in this upscale community, therefore it's important that you bring your own form of transportation.
-Via the road system, we are exactly 5.2 miles west of Interstate 15 & 'Old Town' (downtown) Temecula...
-7 miles to the new 'Prominade Mall' in Temecula
-8 miles to the quaint, country town of Fallbrook.
-It's about 7 miles to Temecula's 'Wine Country'
-9 miles to the Pechanga casino.
-If you like the beach, take the back roads through Fallbrook, then the 76 west to the North San Diego county Beach communities of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, LaJolla. Or...head north from Oceanside to the OC communities of San Clemente, Dana Point, etc.

There will always be someone close to help with any needs that may arise. Nevertheless, don't be surprised by employees of the Farm management company. They're working in the groves most days (in a little white pickup) & the gardener works the property every Wednesday morning.

We have lived up here in DeLuz for nearly 5 years and my wife & I enjoy meeting new friends & like to have friends & guests stay at our home while we travel. If you have a property that is a 'HomeAway', we'd enjoy discussing a potential vacation trade!

However, instead of heading east on RC, you'll head west up the mountain (toward the Beach) to get to our estate. Pechanga Casino, California's largest Casino and a world class Golf Course is only 15 minutes and one exit south on I-15. After booking, we'll send you an 'Local insider's Guidebook of the best UNKNOWN & hidden local attractions...including a Year Round 'Swimming Hole' where the longest, year round fresh water streams in Southern California converge together near Fallbrook. It reminds me of the hidden waterfalls, rope swings & swimming holes on Kauai. Pets welcome...including Horses at this 'unimproved, all natural, tourist free, local, natural water park. Even the fresh water fishing is good! If you like to climb, the half hour hike to the top of Rock Mountain is a hit. Near the top, there's a popular rappelling & Rock climbing face with guide hooks already inbedded.
