The flexible floor plan is perfect for small to large families, comfortably accommodating up to 14 adults, with additional villas available to sleep up to 22. Best of all, 8th and Ocean is literally steps to Rincon's famous golden sand beach. Our beachfront offers unique palm tree cover so you can comfortably be outside all day long right on one of the best residential swimming beaches in the Caribbean. 8th and Ocean offers covered terraces, balconies, patios and direct, private beach access with outdoor shower. Fully modernized and restyled in 2011, the art deco styled building features cabinets hand made in Rincon.
The Vibe: You’ve arrived!
Enter the gated garden. See the crystal blue water ahead. Your Caribbean experience begins. Step through the iron gates and enter your new oceanfront home in Rincon, Puerto Rico. As you feel the sea breeze on your skin and look around, you sense that careful planning has taken place to assure optimal comfort and pleasure during your stay.
Step through the gate right onto the golden sand and you are on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. You can stay out here all day under the cover of tall coconut palms. The calm waters of a beautiful swimming beach are now just steps away.
The building has all the style and quality typical to a 1950’s art deco beach villa. Geometric facades with dimensional pastel treatments enhance a sense of lightness and fun. Tropical influences blend with the “streamline moderne” design of Deco style to intone a laid back lifestyle.
The fully modernized interior offer all the comforts of home with lavish splashes of island color.
Our Neighborhood: The property is located in Estella. It is a colorful and friendly residential community. Estella is not a resort community. There are no casinos, board walks or seaside vendors. The beach is a wild beach, naturally beautiful with only minimal man-made influence. While there are very few large buildings along the beach, there are a few opportunities along your beach walks for food, drink and entertainment.
Here people live their daily lives and speak to each other. It is a friendly community located in a friendly small town. Here you can see free roaming chickens on the street, youngsters training their trotter ponies and neighbors just visiting. Life is slow is this beach community. This is a great place for small and large families and friends to gather for a quiet, fun time on the beach
For those that enjoy natural beauty, a laid back lifestyle, in a private noncommercial setting 8th and Ocean fits the bill. Our newly restored building offers all the conveniences of home

My g/f and I flew into San Juan airport around 3pm and although the traffic was crazy at that point, we made the drive in 3 hours. Pretty cool drive through the rain forests and mountains. We found the place no problem using our own GPS and great directions provided by owner. The villa was gorgeous, with a huge back porch overlooking your very own chunk of ocean frontage. Palm trees line the beach, and there is excellent swimming and snorkeling out the back door. Owner provides a cooler, grill, super-comfy beach chairs, and pretty much everything you need for a great vacation. Any other needs are at the end of the street at a convenient market. We stayed in the 2-bedroom section of the villa, and enjoyed the air conditioned room and comfy bed. My g/f's only gripe was that the shower head was really weak. (Fellas, I could've cared less.) Driving out towards a surf spot called Domes, we came across the Desecheo surf shop. They fitted our Ford Focus with a nice board rack, surf board, boogie board, and 2 pairs of fins for cheap. Some must eats: Puntas Bakery, The English Rose, and Lucky13 BBQ. (at the end of our street!!!) We discovered Lucky13 on our 3rd day and pretty much ate there as much as we could, thereafter. The sunsets were beautiful, the water was clear. We went on a snorkeling trip with the Katarina crew and it was amazing. Flying fish as you sail out to protected reef that includes every color fish you can imagine! Simply beautiful. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends, and WE will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Everything I expected and more! I stayed in the ground floor unit (Gran Terraza) with my entire family, 3 generations. What a great set up. The house is beautiful, the beds were comfortable, 4 bathrooms was a plus and the decor was warm and inviting. It had everything we needed right down to the docking station for my iphone. Connection to pandora radio, not a problem. My favorite part of the house is the huge outside patio. It is literally right on the beach. Lounge chairs, sitting areas and outside wicker furniture. If you choose, three steps and your on the sand sitting under a palm tree. Normally I would dine out with my family for dinner. This trip, we found ourselves using the BBQ and dining outside at sunset. The house Manager, Wilson was accessible and working around the property, keeping it spotless. He even took us up in the mountain to find some fresh fish for dinner. The mid week cleaning was a huge plus, changing linens and freshening the up the entire house. The house is in a great area, close to all. A short walk down the beach to Villa Cofresi for coconut drinks, close to the supermarket and local restaurants. Camera's monitoring the entrance from the beach, the street and outside doors added extra peace of mind. I am so grateful to have found such a beautiful house in Rincon that felt so much like home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We had a great week at Grand Terraza. We rented the bottom half towards the beach and were very satisfied. The open, covered area is awesome and a good place to still be outside but out of the sun. The beds were VERY comfortable and the A/C worked great. Having Villa Confresi a few hundred yards down the beach provided a nice option for watching sunsets and other restaurants were 5 minutes away. Easy to book and do business with. Finally, the caretaker, Wilson, was very helpfu, keeps the place well runl and jumped all over any issues.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very clean and well maintained property. Wilson, the property manager in Puerto Rico was excellent. He was always available with recommendations, to answer questions, and to give us help if needed regarding the rental. He made all the difference! The beach was beyond our expectations with white sands, palm trees, and snorkling outside the door. We hope to visit again!Owner response: Our single purpose is to make our guest stays wonderful in every way. Our team is always looking for ways to enhance the experience while at the property and while in Rincon. We are gratified each and every time we learn of another fully satisfied guest. We look forward to making our guest stays the best ever.

Our families – a total of 10, six adults and four teenagers (mid-to late teens) - used the Grand Vista and Casa Mar villa apartments during Christmas - New Years week of 2011. The location is terrific – private entrance right on an uncrowded section of the beach (not touristy) in Rincon. The location has gorgeous beach, views and sunsets, and we had perfect weather. The two apartments are spacious and nicely appointed with everything one could want. An asset for us was that the Grand Vista had a door at the rear that allowed easy passage to the Casa Mar apartment. The beds were great and each room had lots of space. We did not feel crowded. The units were very clean and the service was super. The kitchens had all the essentials and we cooked many of our meals. We made good use of the very nice, large kitchen in Grand Vista. The adjacent dining area has a super large table for communal meals, conversations and board games. Although we did not use them much, there are several TVs and DVDs. There was good wireless that we used a lot. There are numerous good bathrooms with adequate towels. Self-service laundry is available on site. The beachfront balcony is great and overlooks the ocean with comfortable rockers and side tables for relaxing and reading. Attention to guest convenience is provided in the way of beach towels, folding chairs, beach chairs, and an outdoor sprinkler to rinse off when returning from an ocean dip. The location has nearby access to great snorkeling, surfing, and other water sports. The location also has good access to grocery, bank and restaurants. The villas provide an option to have catered meals provided via Wilson, the property manager, at a nominal cost. We took advantage of this and had a terrific pork-based meal of local cooking. Wilson was a huge asset, friendly, knowledgeable and available for advice and help as needed. The neighboring beautiful red rooster was an excellent alarm clock, although usually not needed or wanted, and we got used to him. Overall, our stay was most comfortable and everything we needed was there. It’s great for a large group.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Being that we are a new property on the market, we haven't had many groups experience our villas. We appreciate the high marks given our location, amenities and services and are always working to make the guest's vacation an unforgettable and special time. Thank you.

8th and Ocean is gorgeous, the indoor living is nearly as beautiful as the outdoor spaces. Its quite obvious that everything is sparkling clean and brand new. The space is large, which is a nice change from some rentals that tend to be cramped to fit more units. There is plenty to do nearby, either walking on the beach or with a car rental. A short walk away there are wave runners to rent which is a lot of fun, but its far enough that it doesnt affect the experience on the beach in front of the rental. It was wonderful to have the beach nearly to ourselves. Wonderful place, I will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 23/24
