We had a wonderful relaxing peaceful vacation. Cindy's condo was perfect for us, and just what we look for when we go to the beach at an affordable price. Cindy was very easy to work with, and we found the condo employees to be friendly and helpful also. The condo has a great sunset view. The condo was such a perfect match for us that we are starting to talk about returning in 2014. Cindy has a personal website that has more photos. Enjoy the ocean without leaving the condo. The sound of the waves is so relaxing. We look forward to our return visit.

My husband & I have never stayed right on the beach before & when I started to look for a reasonable place, this was the place! The owner is very reasonable, friendly & accomendating. We stayed for 10 days & most places wanted us to stay either 1 week or 2 weeks at a time & not for the 10 days. We arrived the same day the tropical storm Debby decided to arrive & lasted 5 days of our vacation! To be able to watch it from our balcony & times was amazing! A little scary to drive around in as the roads were flooded in areas & our rental car was a small compact, so we stayed in the condo. The remaining 5 days of our vacation we were able to sit on the balcony in the morning with our coffee & watch the beautiful Gulf of Mexico & get down to the beach for the day!Plenty of towels & items in the condo was helpful to have (dishes, glassware, etc.) Staff was very friendly & helpful. Parking was usually ok but noticed on the weekend that a lot of locals come in to stay overnight, so parking was crowded but there was parking across the street for the overflow. TheTrolley also runs right in front of the condo & we did take it 1 day down to Clearwater for shoppinging, that was fun! Caddy's on the Beach was a wonderful walk to for a great breakfast (and for lunch & dinner)...all in all, we would definitly stay here again! Thanks for a wondeful time! :)

Our little four day get-a-way was truly a relaxing experience. The property in general, though a bit dated, was actually very nice. Others have posted about rude employees however that was not the case for us. Staff were friendly and the resort overall was clean. and well kept. The pool was sparkling though we never did get the chance to use it. Instead we spent our time down on the shore relaxing under the umberlla we found in our unit and swimming in the gulf using the boogie boards also found in the room. The kitchen in the unit was convenient, allowing us to have our breakfasts out on the balcony watching the early morning joggers and children shelling along the shore. Lunch at Caddies-a very short walk along the beach-was very enjoyable. They have the perfect icy drinks and good food. The resort is really perfectly located with a grocery store (Publixs) and shops a short drive down the street yet away from noisy partiers. We also rented a jet ski from Dolphins boat and seadoo's about 2 miles down the road. As for the unit itself--it has had it's days...though definately liveable and a good value for being right on the beach, it was a bit worn out. I would say it is perfect for a family with young children because you would not worry too much about ruining any expensive furniture. The unit is well stocked. I have rented from private owners many times and I would have to say this was the best in regards to the available beach stuff to use (umberlla, beach chairs, boogie boards, things for making sand castles, beach towels). Also plenty of very clean (new?) towels, and kitchen items like napkins, paper plates and paper towels. There was also a toaster, toaster oven and was fully stocked with plates, glasses, silverware. I would suggest adding a blender so renters can make their own icy concoctions. I brought stuff to make mud slides but could not grind ice for them. The beds and pillows were unfortunately very uncomfortable. I usually bring my own pillows when traveling and the first time I forget to bring them is when I needed them the most. Almost traveled the 45 minute drive home to get my pillows because the first night I could not sleep at all! Also the A/C was a bit of an issue. Could not adjust it at all...so the room was warm during the day and freezing at night. Over all I would say the the resort was "good", the unit "average", and the location "excellent".

We enjoyed the condo very much. The unit was so well stocked with household supplies and beach equipment. The location is perfect with the the beautiful Gulf of Mexico right outside your door, a pristine heated pool, and a friendly staffed Tiki Bar! The weather was also perfect throughout our stay. There were many excellent restaurants and night clubs within walking distance. The owner was so accommodating in giving us the dates we needed for our vacation. She readily responded to all of our requests. We will definitely consider this condo for further excursions to Treasure Island!

I needed a quick refreasher weekend before getting back to work and was delighted with this unit. Everything you need is there. Loved the tiki bar and the bartenders, staff was nice and the beach is awesome. Of course the sunsets are uncomparable! Comforatble, clean and easy access to everything.

My children and I stayed at this condo for 6 night just this past week and we found the condo itself to be modestly furnished but quite satisfactory. The location of the condo to this fabulous beach is clearly the main selling point of this property. The sunsets are breath taking and it's just a 5 minute walk down the beach to a very nice family restaurant called Caddy's. The condo association needs to make some significant changes and provide sensitivty training to those who work within the building. By renting a condo through homeaway and not booking the condo directly through them, as a renter you are limited to what you are allowed to use within the facility and the employees make that very well known to both adults and children. Some of the employees are down right scary to look at and could easily be in a Hitchcock movie. The Tiki bar is fine but the owner is always pre-occupied with doing something else related to his other business interests. He stares at his laptop for hours at a time and has the personality of a funeral director. All the food is frozen and needs to be microwaved instead of using one of their grills to make fresh food for guests. Drink prices vary considerably from bartendar to bartendar. Competition for guests is very high in this area...many better options that would give a better rate for a better room with a nicer group of employees to serve your family. Example: Residence Inn by Marriott a few miles down the road, also on the same beach, brand new, $85.00 a night.

Owner response: This reviewer bargained down my price before his stay. He also kept one of my keys and took all of my beach towels. Please keep these facts in mind when taking his review to heart.

We stayed in this condo over Memorial Day weekend 2008. We travel every summer to a couple of different beaches and have stayed in many condo's and this BY FAR was the most comfortable one we have stayed at. It was very clean and the decor is beachy-cute. The owner is very nice and her condo has all the comforts of home. This is not a fancy condo but from the minute we walked in we felt at home. I was amazed at all the items in the condo for our use. we forgot a few things and rather than having to run to a store it was nice to find the items right there in the condo. (paper plates, conditioner, etc) I got a couple of bug bites and found a fully stocked drawer with first aid items. there were boogie boards, a portable radio, beach chairs, even a table and stools on the balcony big enough to sit and play cards at. This owner has thought of everything you might need on a vacation-I just couldn't get over all the extras she had in case you needed something. I would TOTALLY recommend this condo to anyone who wants to visit Treasure Island. If you look at other condo's prices you will find this owner does not gauge you on the cost. Her price is even cheaper than most hotels in the area. there is a wonderful beach front view, nothing but sand and beach from any direction you look.

Staid there for one week in June 2006. Lovely spot, enjoyed nightly sunsets from my terrace directly overlooking phantastic beach. Beachfront units are quiet and peaceful very relaxing. The unit was well equipped and furnished and the hostess supplied generously whatever a guest might have forgotten to pack (toiletries, paper goods, spices etc). Hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. We were having family come into town for the holidays, one of which was my husbands brother who was fighting in Afganistan and needed a well deserved vacation. We appreciate the wonderful accomodations and hospitality.
