Breakfast in bed....nah, just joking! - Volcano, Big Island, HI - Hawaii House/Bed & Breakfast The Aloha Junction B&B sits near the summit of Kilauea Volcano, located inside Volcano National Park - one of the most beautiful, yet safest places to visit in today's frantically paced world. Lava has been flowing constantly since 1983 and can be viewed right inside the park as well as 25 miles further down into the park. Watching the lava pouring into the sea and creating new land is an incredible sight ~ and at night it's even more spectacular...it's really breathtaking! The Aloha Junction is located right in Volcano Village close to several convenience stores and restaurants. The Park entrance is a mere 1 mile away, make this location ideal for excited but tired volcano watchers. This private, but conveniently located B&B offers 4 super-sized suites to choose from; all rooms having private entrances, locking doors, private bathrooms. Your rate includes a full and deliciously prepared breakfast. You will also enjoy FREEE wireless internet connection throughout the house, or use the computer room if you like. Plus there is so much freedom to browse throughout the house and property. As another convenience, we also loan out flashlights, raincoats, coolers, even walking sticks to help equip you get out and see the lava at night. There are several excellent restaurants in the village, an oven-fired pizza parlor right at the end of our road. Every Sunday you'll want to get up extra early to visit a very exciting Farmer's Market packed with exotic foods and treasures to consider taking home. The Atkasuka Orchid Gardens is just 1 mile back towards Hilo, as is the fanciful 2400 Farhenheit Glass Blowing business. Volcano has the unusual distinction of having America's most southermost winery near our village, about two miles up past the Volcano Golf and Country Club. You can count on the National Park for up-to-date information on volcanic activity, guided tours, and miles and miles of hiking trails. We recommend you rent the rooms or house for at least 2 - 3 days to do justice to this part of the island. Happy trails!!
