Perfect getaway! The fall colors were beautiful, as was the picture-perfect lake view. The house is tastefully decorated in a rustic, yet upscale mountain cabin motif. Our two college kids and two friends were able to join us with plenty of room for us all to spread out. The location is convenient to Cashiers, with a full grocery store, shops and restaurants in town. We spent our two full days hiking to waterfalls and scenic mountain overlooks. We tried our luck fishing from the dock and enjoyed the lakeside fire pit at night for s’mores. (complete with shooting stars!) We look forward to returning and renting a boat from the marina to sightsee around Lake Glenville. The owner is friendly and helpful…can’t wait to go back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My husband and I had the most wonderful vacation in this home. We made fires in the firepit beside the lake, we rented a pontoon boat (the marina is 3 minutes away), we visited waterfall trails in the area and enjoyed the Cashiers and Highland communities nearby. The lake is clear, the surrounding mountain's color was spectacular. This home was spotless and made our stay comfortable. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The process of renting, arriving and leaving the property was made very easy with no hangups with our vacation time. We plan on returning soon!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

To tell you the truth I really had high expectations coming to stay at this house on Lake Glennville. It was much better than I had hoped. The owner is extremely personable and had excellent communication with us from the beginning to the end. She made sure that there would be absolutely everything you may need. The home is spectacular and in a perfect location. The views of the lake are expansive. The town of Cashiers is 5 minutes away and is very cool. Everything you need is close by. We spent the majority of the time at the house and you will too once you get there. We rented a boat at the marina that is literally 200 feet from the house. The lake has three waterfalls to go visit and good fishing. Our dogs got to come with us and the owner made it very comfortable for us to bring them. All in all this was a fantastic trip. Love the area, the owner, the views, the house....everything.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My family and I decided on a very last minute trip to Lake Glenville and the owners of this home were very accomodating! My parents and I used to vacation in the Highlands area every summer since I was about 8 years old and we eventually made our way to Lake Glenville and fell in love with the area. As a special treat to my parents, my husband and I decided to invite them along for a memorable trip back to the lake. We even were able to bring our two dogs. The house is charming (just like it says) and the views are excellent. It's conveniently located on the lake with its own dock and right near the marina. You can just rent a boat and dock right in front of the house for bathroom breaks or lunch breaks. It's also close to the Highlands area for amazing dining and shopping (only about a 20-30 min drive). We had a blast and will keep this place in mind for future vacations!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Just got back from a fabulous week on Lake Glenville. We rented this great home conveniently located on the lake and couldn't ask for anything better. The home is charming, and freshly decorated. The backyard and dock is very peaceful and relaxing, we enjoyed gathering around the firepit in the evenings making so 'mores and sharing our days fun on the lake. Thanks for opening your home to us and we are looking forward to coming back soon.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
