We invite you to enjoy our beautifully decorated one bedroom vacation getaway located in the peaceful, easy-going Green Cove resort community.
On the shores of Lake Erie, and just 20 minutes from Port Clinton, you'll enjoy a quiet and comfortable 'home away from home' with endless activities and attractions just minutes away. If you're a fisherman, you probably already know that this area is known for some of the best walleye and perch fishing in the country.
You'll find everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself in our thoughtfully appointed retreat where you'll be treated as a guest, not a 'renter'.
We're all about making your life easier, so you'll arrive to a kitchen already stocked with staples, paper products, coffee, tea, bottled water, condiments and all the dishes, silverware, pots and pans you need to prepare meals. Pack light because we provide ample supplies of plush towels, quality linens, games, DVDs, and a generous assortment of toiletries.
WE ATTENDED TO THE DETAILS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO...
The fresh, clean, and airy living area provides a pleasant space with ample seating for relaxation and socializing. Should the weather or simply a desire to just 'chill' keep you inside, you can enjoy the HDTV with cable and Blue-ray player. You are also welcome to use our collection of DVDs and popular board games.
The bathroom offers a wide assortment of toiletries should you forget anything at home or simply wish to pack light. A plentiful supply of lush bath towels and pool towels are available for your use.
And because there's no substitute for a good night's sleep, we have done our best to ensure you get great rest during your stay. The bedroom has two comfortable twin beds that can stand alone or be converted to a king-sized bed with memory foam topper (on you request). A unique sectional that converts to a truly comfortable queen sleeper is available in the living area. A memory foam topper for added comfort is also available. Our linens are soft, untattered, and impeccably clean
Other nice things about our 'home away from home'...
Our screened porch overlooks the pool and is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or star watching at night. A spiral staircase leads you to a pond and lush grassy area, children's playground and a large, impeccably kept, award-winning swimming pool with ample chaise lounges for enjoying the sunshine.
Many community resources are available to you as well, including plenty of nature to explore, tennis courts, basketball courts, outdoor grills, and fish cleaning station. There is a catch and release fishing pond on the property, and a restaurant, convenience store, gas station and lounge within walking distance.
A small, private beach on Lake Erie less than a half mile down the road can be enjoyed by your family. This beach has a quaint, uncrowded feel to it. Just off the beach is a small peninsula where you can fish in the lake or enjoy a family picnic.
Our 30' boat dock and washer and dryer are also available for your use without additional charge.
ABOUT THE AREA...
You'll be staying in the 'Walleye fishing capital of the world', so fishing is plentiful. We are happy to provide references to some local captains available for fishing charters.
Our resort is located about half way between Toledo and Sandusky, which puts us within minutes of many wonderful attractions and activities. You'll be about 1/2 hour from Cedar Point Amusement Park, minutes from the Ottawa County Wildlife Preserve (Magee Marsh), and 20 minutes from Port Clinton where you can catch a boat ride to Put-In-Bay, Kelly's Island and several other diverse, scenic and exciting islands of Lake Erie.
We've provided a wide assortment of brochures and discount coupons to make learning the 'lay of the land' easier for you. We are also available by phone should you have any questions or need suggestions on things to do.

WE'RE ALL ABOUT CHOICES...
Cleaning fee? YOU choose!
A $50 cleaning deposit is required. We always do the 'heavy lifting' (tubs, sinks, floors, laundry, vacuuming, and making beds). If you prefer to return our home to its original condition by removing trash and everything else you brought in, putting things back where they go, washing your dishes, and cleaning up any messes you made, your deposit will be gladly refunded. If you don't have time or don't want to be bothered, the amount of your deposit will be accepted for us to take care of those things for you.
Security Deposit? YOU choose!
We understand accidents happen and don't want your vacation spoiled by an unfortunate mishap. We are pleased to offer extremely affordable damage insurance. To encourage your participation, we will even pay half the cost, making your investment only $25. If, however, you do not wish to purchase damage insurance, a refundable deposit of $200 can be made on arrival and returned to you within 7 days of departure.

Dear Julie and Jim, We have never stayed in Ohio before; we were happy that we chose your cozy condo and we loved our stay in Green Cove. The house was the perfect size for our family (2 adults, 1 child) and we were pleased to spend our week long vacation in your very clean, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked condo. It had everything we needed for a worry free vacation. The location of the condo was perfect, with many choices of attractions in Toledo, Marblehead, Sandusky, Cleveland and nearby State Parks. Every day was busy for us, with exciting trips that made exploring Ohio great. The resort's pool was especially enjoyable. It was open until late and made for a very relaxing time after a strenuous day out. Our review cannot be complete without a "Special Thank you". Julie and Jim really took care of dealing with their guests on a personal level; they covered all our needs and even more. Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this property to our friends or relatives. Our stay here was just what we needed. We were able to getaway from all the business of life and enjoy our time as a family. We are a family of four with a 2 year old and a 4 year old. The place was perfect. We were treated very kindly and provided with a little gift for both of our children along with snacks for our stay. While there we went to Put-In-Bay, Monsoon Lagoon, African Safari Wildlife, the Marblehead Lighthouse and also just hung out around the condo swimming. It was a very nice getaway. We loved the condo! Very easy to get around to see the sights, but quiet and relaxing afterwards. Julie thought of every detail to make it nice. The pool is very nice! We swam every evening we were there, and it was so nice to have it to come "home" to after our visits to Marblehead, African Safari, and Kelley's Island. This was a welcome relief to stay in such a nice place and the Julie made everything feel like home. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting the area and you will see for yourself. Our short stay at the condo was excellent! Julie was so kind and helpful both on the phone and email in making our arrangements. The condo is beautifully decorated, and so many thoughtful anemities provided. The beds are so comfortable- a rarity in my rental experiences! Our young children enjoyed playing in the sun porch. We loved the pool, it was extremely clean, and maintained daily! There we just a handful of guests there at any given time. The condo grounds are nice for walking, very little traffic and friendly neighbors. We didn't end up using the beach, but it is just a short walk away, and not at all crowded. it's a very nice natural private beach, great for watching a sunset. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the pool, and had adventures to the Toldeo Zoo, and African wildlife safari. There are many things to do and places to visit within a 30 minute drive. Julie could not be any nicer, nor the condo more clean and pretty! Book with confidence! :)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This rental met and/or exceeded all of our expectations. The owners were very friendly and eager to make sure everything was to our liking. The sleeper couch in the living room is an excellent addition. The kitchen (complete with an inventory of snacks) has everything needed for proper meal preparation. There's an excellent television package and DVD library (even a blu-ray player) for those who want to stay indoors, or numerous fishing spots and a pool for outdoor activities. The community is nice and quiet, but the "pool police" (nosy neighbors playing amateur detective) occasionally went overboard in their quest to verify only authorized guests were enjoying the pool. This should in no way deter you from this rental though, as it had nothing to do with the landlords and was just our particular experience while we were there. Overall a great getaway for individuals, couples, and families with children of all ages.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

If you are looking for a quiet retreat this is the place! Being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area, the condo provides such a warm, welcoming place you won't want to leave. Once we entered the condo, we immediately felt at home. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with anything that we may have needed. Julie, the paper plates came in handy!! A bonus was having the washer and dryer for use. After a very long day at Cedar Point, the 30 minute drive to the condo was welcomed knowing that we would be in our own private "world". We took an island hopping cruise the following day and enjoyed a few other adventures with our boys. The Wild Safari park was certainly interesting on a wet rainy day. Many memories for sure. Sunday was rainy but it didn't matter. We all enjoyed the collection of Jim and Julies DVDs that were new to us! Thanks! The boys enjoyed the twin beds in the bedroom and my husband and I enjoyed the pull out couch. Perfect for a romantic getaway as well. Jim and Julie were always available via phone or e-mail. Great customer service and we certainly felt very taken care of! We certainly would love to come back and explore the area further. My husband and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here and got just what we were looking for. We spent our mornings on the porch overlooking the pool and our evenings sitting by the lake shore on the private beach watching the sun set. The pool is just as stated, clean and very well kept with plenty of chairs for sun bathing. The whole condo was very clean and inviting. We felt very much at home. Julie and Jim were there to get us settled in and there just before leaving to make sure we had no problems. The customer service they provide is outstanding. We took advantage of the fresh Farmers Market "Benches" that was a 10 min. drive away. We found fresh fruit for our breakfast and the best corn we have had all year for dinner. We ate all but one meal in the condo. We would definitely recommend this condo for a nice quiet get away.
