AMAZING CONDO!
AMAZING CONDO!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 6 days and it was wonderful!!! If you're looking for something actually ON the mountain (not in the city of Durango), then this is your spot! It's about 10-15 minutes from Durango and about 10 miles from the ski resort. It was the perfect location, with beautiful mountain views from the numerous windows across the front of the condo. Also, the second layer of windows offers an amazing view of the stars on a clear night!! The kitchen is a nice size and easy to cook in. The bathroom is nice, loved the jacuzzi & tile work. The bed is comfortable enough & the rest of the decor is nicely done. Overall, the property & the condo are VERY clean. The only somewhat negative thing I can say about this is that it is NOT for people who have difficulty walking up stairs because there are two short flights of stairs, plus a winding circular stairwell to reach the front door. Carrying large luggage up this proves to be a challenge (or a good work-out, depending on your take), especially if you arrive after dark. Otherwise, it's a great location, a great condo, and the staff made it EXTREMELY easy to book, pay, check-in & out. We enjoyed driving up to Silverton, there were breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. We also enjoyed skiing at DMR (which I hear is a bit more expensive than other ski resorts like Wolf Creek), visiting Mesa Verde National Park & the high-light of our trip was getting a couple's massage at the Natural Hot Springs in Pagosa Springs and then soaking in the Hot Springs. Wow--what a vacation! Thanks for a great stay! I would definitely recommend this condo to friends & family!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

What a terrific place to get away and have a relaxing weekend. The condo is absolutely beautiful and very cozy. We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect - just minutes away from ski slopes but also close to Durango. We can hardly wait to return again for another fun weekend.Did you find this review helpful? We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable studio unit. It had lots of natural sunlight and the electric fireplace provided warmth and atmosphere . The staff were very friendly, helpful and a good resource for hiking in the area. The location provided reasonable access to Durango and also to the mountains. The condo made a nice retreat to return to after a day of exploring. We would return!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We had the best time on our trip! The condo was perfectly located for our needs. It was close to Durango so we had access to restaurants, shopping and activities. We also took day trips to Silverton, Mesa Verde and the Great National Sand Dunes. All were within a reasonable driving distance. The condo itself was clean and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. Even the view was awesome. The staff at Tammaron was courteous and helpful although we did not need them much. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.Owner response: Thanks so much! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay. Let us know if you are ever back in the area and we'll set you up!
