  We found this condo to be situated perfectly on the beach ( did not have to cross a busy highway with lots of beach gear like at the other hotels). It also has wonderful amenities within the condo and also within the larger condo community itself. Our kids ( ages 8 and 4) loved the movie theater and the indoor pool--which proved very useful as we came during a very chilly spring in TX! One main highway connects Galveston to Houston there's many, many family friendly things to do in Houston (NASA, Acquarium, Zoo, Rockets, Museum of Natural History etc.). The owners and their caretaker Eugene could not have been more pleasant to deal with-- every question was answered within a few hours via e-mail or a phone call. The condo itself was spotless with a great view of the ocean ( think sunrise or sunset!) and all appliances functioned well with no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this rental and hope to be back real soon!

  This is a fantastic condo and is just as it is described online. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Diamond Beach is the ultimate place to stay in Galveston. We love it. Special thanks to Eugene who went out of his way to make our stay a great experience!

  Great condo! We enjoyed everything about it. Great view of the ocean. The condo was very clean and modern. Our greeter Eugine was awesome! We arrived very late due to flight issues and he was there to meet us at 3a.m. He was very helpful. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

  This property was fantastic. It was as illustrated on the VRBO website and everything from the unit itself to the property was well maintained. We stayed for 7 nights and ejnoyed our time in the unit and will be back next year. The owners were REALLY easy to deal with and readily accessible from the time we had questions about booking until the time we left and returned home they were available for questions. Our family consists of my wife and I, our 12 year old aughter, 8 year old son and our 19 month old son. All 3 children were extremely happy with the property and want to return. The pools and swim up bar were certainly a plus. The water slide wasnt open during our visit due to repairs but it didn't affect our opinion of the property. Awesome place. Will be back!!

  We had an amazing stay @ this condo & resort. The owner's had someone meet us @ the entry to help us unload & explain how everything worked, this was definitely a bonus. The condo was neat, clean, & well furnished, exactly like the photos. The balcony was clean as well & the view was beautiful. We are a family of 4, we enjoyed the security as our daughters are 12 & 16 but an additional FOB is a must. We enjoyed the lazy river, hot tubs, indoor pool, and outdoor pool. The swim up bar was open for our enjoyment, it was nice to be in a place where you could enjoy an alcoholic beverage but not have a "party environment". The resort is well maintained, the grounds are beautiful and all staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walking on the beach, you have to remember the beaches & water of Galveston are not that of Florida, with that in mind we enjoyed all of it. We will definitely stay here on our return visits to Galveston.

  Beautiful property. Wonderful ammenities. The place was perfect for our family of 5. Would definately stay here again. Loved watching the pelicans from the balcony. The only things that could have improved our stay would be an extra FOB and room key, less seaweed and a groomed beach.

  We appreciate the chance to lease this condo. It's exactly as portrayed on the website. The Diamond Beach property is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially liked the pools, fitness center and game room. Also, I really liked the security features. An electronic device has to be used to access the elevators, the pool area, and the garage, as well as everyone must wear wristbands. We had a great experience here and would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to visit Galveston.

  We rented this condo after looking at a few others in the complex that were pricier. It was an incredible property - very well kept (both indoor and outdoor). We used the game room, the outdoor pools, the indoor pools, and obviously everything in the condo itself. The size of the condo was perfect for our family of 2 adults and three kids (ages 5, 7 and 8). Our biggest problem was that we didn't stay long enough. Our days were filled with swimming in the pool and lazy river, playing board games, going to the beach, watching movies, and hanging out in the game room. The pools and game room were not crowded at all during our stay. The size of the condo is perfect for a family with 3 kids - the bunk beds perfectly sleep three kids. The amenities were very nice. And the ocean front balcony was perfect to sit outside with a glass of wine and chat after the kids went to bed. Highly recommended. Just keep in mind that the pool slide is not open until the weekends during this time of the year (not a big deal with all the other things to do). Nearby activities we did: NASA space center about 30 min away (would rate this a 3 out of 5 stars). We're going to try Moody's Gardens next time. Kemah's Boardwalk is fun but very crowded on the weekends. Restaurants: Tortuga's Mexican (very friendly staff and good food), Jimmy's on the Pier (good food and great atmosphere), and Rainforest Cafe (overpriced for the food, but a cool experience for the kids).

  Our family of four, with two children under the age of 10, stayed for 5 amazing days during spring break. This condo had everything that we needed, both inside and out. The property was clean, well-appointed and welcoming. Even though the pools were a little chilly, we swam every day and didn't even leave the property other than running to the local grocery store. Why would we leave? We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. I would recommend this property without any reservations and we definitely plan to stay in this exact condo sometime very soon. It was fantastic and worth every penny!
