I loved the Tree house. It was in a great location for shopping, CVS and McDonald's. I did have a few disappointments. This home is not walkable to the beach. You have to drive or ride a bike. It is only about a mile. For some reason, I was under the impression there was a trail from the house to the beach and there is not. Secondly, the house was dirty. I ended up cleaning both showers with bleach to remove mildew and hairs were in the tub. I also swept and vacuumed the floors due to excessive amounts of dog hair everywhere (I mean tons) and dead bugs everywhere. It seemed to me the floor had never been swept. We have to pay a $250 dollar cleaning fee- should we not get the same respect? I spent most of the first day cleaning. The cabinets in the kitchen were covered in filth so I wiped them down. The door windows were covered in doggy slobber as well as two doggy bowls left out -one with half eaten food. And to top it off- there was a pair of dirty underwear left in the master bathroom hamper. In addition, the outside grill was filthy and I had to scrub it down. I do not blame the owner but I hope they let their cleaning people know that the attention to detail is just not there. Once all was clean to my standards- I had a good time. The home is very cozy and colorful. They also provide a lot of kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, oil, etc. so you don't have to worry about forgetting stuff at the grocery store. All in all, we had a good time. The air conditioner works great and all the rooms have television for the whole family to enjoy. I do highly recommend this house if the cleaning crew gets it together. Most families save all year for a vacation and for the costs (total around $2000) you should not arrive to a dirty place-plain and simple.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
