Just stayed here for 2 nights, and we will be coming back! They thought of everything. From having the kitchen staples (seasonings, sugar, tea, etc) to all the necessary toiletries. Every detail was thought of. Music, an XBox, and DVD's to watch. Beautifully maintained and so peaceful. Can't wait to come back!!!! Thank you so much for everything.

Me and my husband spent our honeymoon at "The Bears Den" and I must say WOW! The cabin was beautifully decorated with the "bear" theme. It was everything and more than we expected! The cabin has everything you can possibly need.It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare any meals. We loved how close we were to town that it only took a few minutes to get anywhere but we were far enough out that we really felt like we were in a mountain hideaway. We even saw raccoons and some snow while we were there! The owners Bill & Jeannie were awesome to work with! You can't ask for nicer people. My husband works out of town and due to his work schedule we actually didnt even get to go on our honeymoon when we got married. We ended up having to change our dates 3 times and they never said anything but "that's no problem". We would recommend this cabin to anyone!!! And we hope to return real soon!

Me and my husband just spent our honeymoon here this last week and I have to say we have stayed in many many cabins in Gatlinburg and this by far was the one we enjoyed the most! It was so clean and cozy! He even forgot his body wash and some was under the sink for him to use! Owners are very sweet and kind, willing to do anything for the guest! Not to far from attractions at all! We loved it! We will be using this one only when we come back! Amy & Micheal

A Wonderful Place!

This cabin was everything and more that the Beaushaw's have claimed on their website. The directions to the cabin, cleanliness, attractiveness, conveniences (everything from appliances and tv to paper towels and dish soap!) were all outstanding. It does not matter what your interests are - either the beauty of the mountains or the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions, this location is easily accessible to all of it. We highly recommend it.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, thanks to my in-laws! It was wonderful, and we could not have asked for more. It rained everyday we were there, but we could still grill and sit on the porch while we were there! Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of, and we hope to come back sometime soon!

I was just wanting to say thank you Jeannie and Bill for letting my family stay at your wonderful cabin.The directions were good and we found it in no time. Everything was very nice and peaceful.If I had to recommend a cabin in the mountains this would be the only one. Unforgettable Memories of a Wonderful Cabin

My husband and I just returned on September 3rd from a fabulous 6 day mountain vacation at The Bear's Den. As I had told Jeannie we had everything we needed and enjoyed the peacefulness that this cabin had above the tree tops. I think the only loud thing there was us either leaving or coming home on our motorcycle (so sorry to your neighbors). Words cannot describe all of the beauty, time and thought that this couple has put into their wonderful cabin to be shared by so many people who stay there. Great effort is put into every detail that someone would have within their own home to make sure that their guests enjoy every part of their stay. As we were limited to what we could take on our motorcycle we had no problem going back down to the local Krogers to do our shopping and enjoy the evenings with great food on the grill/enclosed back patio along with our favorite beverages under the stars. They have thought of everything else too from the bathroom necessities to the kitchen untensils to alot of little things that most hotel chains tend to forget to make their guests so happy. The only disappointment was that my husband could not get the OSU's first game on t.v. but compromised with another game that was televised. Oh well the beauty of the mountains and riding made up for all of this. We have been to TN/NC several times but would truly recommend this cabin to anyone staying in this area. We are so excited to return here in the future to again enjoy the hospitilaty of this couple's cabin. Thank you once again. Susan and Phillip Snyder Delaware, OH

We stayed at the Bear's Den in Sevierville, TN and had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Of course Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and all that they offer were great...but I'd have to say the thing that put our vacation over the top was the Bear's Den Cabin! Where to begin: It was nicely secluded in the mountains and had very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The cabin was very private and just a beautiful little home in the mountains. The cabin had just about everything you needed except a stocked fridge, which we did at the local Kroger...only 5 minutes away! They have a hot tub on the back porch and a large hot tub in the bath room, which we used every day!!! They had cable and all of the modern conveniences, and the Beaushaws have pretty much thought of everything when it comes to stocking the cabin with the necessities to stay very comfortably and happily. The cabin was our favorite attraction, and we literally could not wait to get home each night, light the quick switch gas fireplace and enjoy very quiet evenings together. It also caused us to want to sleep in alot!!! All in all...a very memorable vacation at the Bear's Den. I haven't stopped talking about it now more than a week after getting back to reality! My husband, daughter and I spent a week here in March 2008. It was our 10th anniversary & Spring Break. This was our first "real" vacation and it was great! The home was wonderful and had everything we could have imagined. The location was perfect, away from everything but close enough to enjoy all the sights. We wanted snow soo bad and one day we drove into the mountains and played in the snow. The trip was a dream come true and when we come back we would definitely stay here. Thank you for loaning out your amazing home. Well worth the 14 hour drive from Texas.

My wife and I recently spent our 40th anniversary at The Bear's Den and there was no better place we could have stayed. The hospitality of Bill and Jeannie was overwhelming. The directions Bill gave are so accurate, we actually found the place at midnight after leaving work and driving into the night from South Alabama. It was SO wonderful to be able to claim such a beautiful hide-a-away as our place to stay in the mountains. We spent most of out time seeing the sights in nearby Pigeon Forge and enjoying some of the fine restaurants and family variety shows. We even got to see Dolly Parton at Dollywood in her parade. We have great photos of that. Our four days there were all so awesome and special for both of us. The cabin is utterly fantastic with everything you could possibly need. From the moment you arrive at the front door of the The Bear's Den your time away from "routine" begins to transform to "relaxation." Believe me, you will not be disappointed with the care and attention to comfort Bill & Jeannie have provided. The first words out of our mouths, OH WOW, the last words, PLEASE TELL ME IT ISN'T TIME TO LEAVE ALREADY." Seriously, the mountain top privacy is well worth coming to visit The Bear's Den. These folks are very easy to work with and professional.

Great Cabin, We stayed at the Bear's Den from Aug. 27 to Sept. 1, and loved it. Beautiful!! Very clean!! well stocked and quiet. A perfect place for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Bill and Jeannie were great to deal with and very accomodating. Recommend it to anyone. Wish I could have stayed forever.

The Bears Den was a awsome cabin to say the least! Rick and I stayed there from 7-29-06 until 8-2-06 for our 11th wedding anniversary we did not want to leave. Bill and Jeannie go the extra step to make sure you have anything you need communication with them was always so easy just a phone call away. We can't say enough about the cabin it was very clean, very stocked, and the most romantic little place we have ever been to. Much more than we could have imagined, and if you love smooth jazz bill has some wonderful cd's at the cabin we hardly turned on the T.V I have stayed in about 10 cabins in the mountains but we both agree this little cabin is the best yet and we plan on making it our anniversary getaway each year. Thanks again Bill and Jeannie for making our anniversary this year so very special

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beaushaw's Bear's Den cabin. It was exactly as advertised; very comfortable, nicely maintained and furnished much better than some of our other rentals. It is worth noting that you couldn't ask for nicer owner's than the Beaushaws. They were great on communications, and made sure the accommodations were special to our needs. What a wonderful and relaxing vacation we had. Who would have known that searching for a place on the Internet would turn up such a delightful find. Bill and Jeannie are gracious hosts and are very concerned that their guests find everything to their liking. The cabin was very peaceful and restful and it made it very hard to leave. It is decorated beautifully and you feel at home from the moment you step in the front door. We hope very much to make a return visit next year. The Bears Den is a great place to be if you just want to set back and relax away from everything! We stayed there 4-20-05 thru 4-24-05.We had a great time! the cabin is beautiful,clean and real cozy! Even though we have never met the owners, We feel like we have known them forever.They are real easy to talk to.I have never stayed anywhere else that I felt so at home. No one else has ever called to see if we made it or if we needed anything, but here the owners did! We will return here again! If your looking for a great place to stay this is it!!

Bill and Jeannie, Thanks for giving us the privalige to stay in your cabin. It was so nice. We try to go up there every year for my birthday in March. This year was so special because we Had snow three days while we were there and we saw several different animals this time that we had not seen in previous years we saw elk, deers, 4 bears a momma and 3 cubs, red wolf, bobcats, coyotes, canadian geese, ducks, raccon, and oppossum. We really enjoyed your place and you gave us such a great deal on it. We are telling all our friends about it and we hope to visit it again in the future. Thanks again, Christine & Clinton Varner

My husband and I stayed at the "Bear's Den" February 28 - March 5, 2005. We cannot thank Bill & his wife Jeannie enough for their wonderful hospitality! The cabin was perfect for us & had everything that we needed. We were minutes away from all major attractions & at the end of the day, it was so nice to go "home" & relax in the jacuzzi. Being from Louisiana, it was a treat to see it snow on Tuesday! And even though it is the off-season, we still had plenty to do. We will be sure to recommend the "Bear's Den" to anyone planning a trip to the Gatlinburg area. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

It was my first visit to a cabin and all I can say is that it was BREATHTAKING. It was peaceful and it is a very romantic place. I had my girlfriend's birthday there and Bill (the owner) upon my reguest added a few things to give her a memorable experience. IT'S A GREAT PLACE!!!

Great place to stay. Relax, let the world go away. Huge hot tub on wonderful screened porch, and very large indoor tub. Also, gas BBQ. Very comfortable. DVD/CD player, Sony Playstation, King Bed. The list goes on. Hurry, book it now!!!

Bill & Jeannie, We truly enjoyed using your home it was prefect in every way! We cooked our breakfast at the house some mornings and cooked pizza one night; just to stay in and relax. The hot tub was very enjoyable at the end of each evening for all of us. I also enjoyed sitting on the screen porch just watching the birds and squirrels.
