"Bearitage," Truly a "One-in-a-million" property. A fully restored, historic, log home at the Continental Divide near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. World-class trout fishing surrounds you as do the breathtaking Pinnacle Buttes. Nestled at the top of Togwatee Pass near Brooks Lake, this warm, luxurious cabin is situated in the Shoshone National Forest, which backs up to Yellowstone National Park.
Relax on the expansive deck and take in the incredible views at the top, nap in the hammock among the ancient trees, or fly fish just a few feet away in Brooks Lake Creek. Or, for the more energetic, hike, camp, horseback ride, whitewater raft, or visit Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks just minutes away. Winter is a wonderland of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-fishing, or enjoy hundreds of miles of marked, groomed snowmobile trails nearby. Jackson Hole Ski Resort is less than an hour away. Wildlife abounds for the naturalist, photographer, or hunter.
The spacious, log greatroom is dominated by a massive river stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling, as well as beautiful western furnishings. Large windows offer plenty of sunlight and French doors open onto the expansive deck complete with hammock, tables, and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxation. The bathroom is designed as a suite to maximize its utilization and privacy.
The separate mudroom is conveniently located with a washer and dryer and space for plenty of sports equipment. Each bedroom is a luxurious retreat of down comforters and pillows. The sunroom also opens onto the deck and is a wonderful, sunny retreat for extra sleeping capacity, entertainment, and a stunning view from the wall of windows.
Set in an historic community of 12 secluded cabins near National Historic Register Brooks Lake Lodge, featured in Travel and Leisure Magazine, one can enjoy complete privacy or a wonderful selection of restaurants, shops, and activities just a beautiful drive away. Easy 45 minute drive to Jackson Hole Airport, even less to the parks.

Bearitage was all we could ask for!! Comfy and cozy, even our teenagers admitted it was the best vacation they could remember, even without cell service! My brother was in heaven with the perfect fishing spot and deer hunting, all in one. We are glad to have found your lovely home and we are happy to submit this review. Thanks again, Pauline

We had a wonderful time at Bearitage. The cabin and setting were exactly what I was hoping for-rustic charm and comfort. The views in the morning and evening were wonderful and fishing on the stream was great. And plenty of fun excursions. This really turned out to be a trip loved by all. We had a fabulous time! You cabin was perfect. What a beautiful setting! I could sit on your deck every morning for the rest of my days with coffee and enjoy the scenery and wildflowers. We mountain biked, hiked, fished, went to Yellowstone, did jigsaw puzzles, etc. It was easy to get to Jackson but we were always glad to get back to Bearitage -in fact we could not get the kids to leave a couple of days. We will definitely return next summer!

We had an incredible week at Bearitage and we loved it!! I couldn't have asked for a better time or location. The cabin was perfectly suited for our family and plenty of beds, towels, blankets, firewood and thanks for the wine! The field was loaded with wildflowers and we saw deer, snowshoe rabbits and even a moose, all within view from the deck. No bears or wolves, much to the disappointment of my son (but I was glad). The trout fishing was excellent, we all caught some and released them. Thanks for donating this to the Boy Scouts!
