About the Area
Our beautiful beach features a playground, lifeguard and bathrooms (summer). The beach area includes a shaded picnic area with tables and grills.
If you enjoy the peaceful country setting, where one could simply relax and sit quietly reading a book or stroll along a private beach then this is the place for you!
When you are not at the beach, you are just a stroll from the charming village of Southold featuring excellent shopping, restaurants, luncheonette's, ice cream shops and a short drive from the Greenport’s Historic Seaport Village. Kids will love the antique carousel right on the water.
There are also many fine restaurants to enjoy located on the North Fork just minutes away. The famous seaport village of Greenport is approximately 5 miles. Wine lovers will enjoy the 60+ world-class vineyards only minutes from the home. Enjoy the local farm stands featuring the freshest local produce and fresh cut flowers that are all part of the North fork experience....

Travel
Southold is 2 hours east of Manhattan. Our home is a ~10 min walk from the Hampton Jitney and LIRR. For New England guests we are ~15 minutes from the New London-Orient Pt ferry.

$125 Cleaning Fee; $1,000 Security Deposit
(Credit Card Payment: Add 3%)
Deposit of 50% of the Rental Rate is Due @ Time of Reservation, with Receipt of Signed Rental Agreement. Remaining Balance is due 8 weeks prior to Arrival. Security deposit will be returned within two weeks, upon satisfactory inspection of house upon your departure.

This rental is, by far, the best we've ever stayed in. From the well equipped kitchen, uber-comfortable beds, plentiful fluffy towels to the large beautiful grassy backyard and spacious enclosed patio; this place has it all. The owners have paid close attention to details considering all the amenities their guests would want, and then added extras to make it a real gourmet experience. The location is just perfect for visiting farms, beaches, wineries, bakeries, and cute old towns for treasure hunting. I definitely recommend staying at this adorable, renovated farmhouse and won't even consider another when I return.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

You will find all the luxuries of a five star hotel in a home: stylish decoration, fully equipped kitchen, cooking appliances, AC, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, grill, outdoor shower, ipod dock, wireless speakers, enclosed porch and intimate garden. Walking distance from the resident's beach, one block from French Bakery and convenience store, a few blocks from the supermarket and walking distance from the Jitney stop. Very helpful owners, ready to answer any questions that you may have. Best house rental experience in the North Fork by far. Just bring your family and friends and enjoy, you will not want to leave!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

This house looks beautiful in pictures, but it is far more beautiful in person. We had a fantastic weekend! The location is perfect...close to wineries, restaurants, beaches and the beautiful town of Greenport. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to visit the Northfork. You will not be disappointed. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated. The kitchen was gorgeous and equipped with everything you would need to cook and serve meals. This home was such a pleasure to visit that I felt completely at peace as soon as I stepped in. The house has an amazing kitchen, a spacious living room and wonderful patio. The decor is a mix of modern and nostalgic that made me feel right at home. My kids and I loved that the beach was a stone's throw away. I wasn't too sure if being at the beach was more relaxing than sitting on the patio while my husband grilled for the family. When we weren't cooking, we were so close to such amazing restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Definitely will be back with the family and for a ladies weekend out.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

beautiful old farmhouse, really nicely decorated, love the new kitchen and backyard patio. southold is a great town, and this is a short walk to the beach and also easily accessible by jitney or metro-north.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

We really enjoyed our stay in Southold. The owners have done a fabulous job renovating this charming old farmhouse. With modern amenities (everything you can imagine!) yet an antique feel, you'll really enjoy your stay. Just a short walk from the private town beach, great for families, kids, couples or vacationers.
