Charming luxury located just 100 yards from the beach! The sound of the surf is your constant reminder that it is time to decompress and soak in the beauty of one of the most heavily landscaped homes on the Island. Grace Cottage fronts on Albright Lane and has ample parking for three vehicles and a carport of storing your beach essentials.
In 2002, the home was torn down to the studs and totally reconstructed. Terrazzo floors and tasteful throws compliment the varied pastel colors and pottery barn furnishings that give the Cottage the same warm surroundings you have in your own home.
The front door opens into a expansive living area with plenty of seating and a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. The adjacent dining table and bar tend to be used only in inclement weather as most guests gravitate towards the covered porch to dine and take in the evenings libations.
The kitchen is made with the chef in mind with a prep island and convection oven. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities and the Bosch dishwasher is so quiet you'll check to make sure it is working. Multi-taskers will appreciate having the laundry room next to the kitchen.
Through the hall off the living area, the master bedroom and guest bedroom beckon after a day in the sun. Premium mattresses will bring memorable sleep and each bedroom has it's own spacious bathroom and shower. Expansive closets and built in cabinets assure all your personal effects are easy to find. Decorative ceiling fans amplify the sounds of the surf, but put an extra blanket on the bed as the Trane air conditioner likes to keep our guests cool in this tropical paradise!
Just off the kitchen, an expansive king bedroom is perfect for the little ones or a place to give the in-laws 'their space'. A comfortable couch doubles as a fold out should any body need a 'time out'. The rear door opens into an large, fenced back yard, ideal for family recreational activities.
The sundeck above the rear porch is the best place to take in the ocean views and optimize your bronze look. In the evenings, stargazing is almost a requirement, or perhaps you prefer a romantic spot to steal a little private time.
Gardeners will appreciate one of the most expansive landscapes of all the Island's homes that is also a favorite of the local butterfly and humming bird populations.
Located mid-Island, Grace Cottage is close enough to the major activities while being on a quiet dead end street. You will be comfortable watching the children play and ride their bikes under your watchful eye. Even better, while you watch, fire up the ginormous charbroil gas grill and cook up some of the local shrimp.... arguably the world's best. If you absolutely have to, each room has an HDTV with a gazillion channels, but hey, you can do that at home! Get outside!
Grace Cottage has developed a stellar reputation and our repeat customer base grows every year. As owners, we constantly upgrade the facility and amenities to ensure your satisfaction. We want you back.
In case you are wondering, what is the worst part of Grace Cottage. Having to leave!!! If you are looking for a comfortable cottage right by the beach, you've found the best. Enjoy your stay and thanks for your business!

Jones Family; What a beautiful beach cottage! We were so happy to see that it met our expectations. We had a wonderful time on Jekyll Island, with the exception of Tropical Storm Debby, but our last few days here were beautiful and a lot of fun. We enjoyed your cottage , the chest of children's toys were a nice touch that our kids enjoyed. Your place is beautifully decorated and was a nice home away from home during our stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Dear Jones Family: As I write this message of thanks, I am relaxing in the blue chair w/ ottoman in the living room, gazing very fondly at the best little pillow - "Beach House". Every time I look at it, it makes me smile! In fact, your whole home makes me smile. I love the colors, marine/nautical/sea decor, and all the little personal touches like photos and drawings your kids made and it has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and thank you for opening your home to others. Our family has had one of our best vacations ever on Jekyll Island. May God bless you as much as you have blessed others.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family had a wonderful time at your beach house. I love the colorful beach decor. It's a great location to the beach. Jekyll Island has a lot of things to do for all ages. We really enjoyed the Sea Turtle Center. I would recommend the Blackwater Grill St.Simons Island - the food was fantastic! Thank you for opening your home to us!Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: As a husband and wife duo that is in the hospitality and interior design field, we brought and continue to bring the best of our talents to Grace Cottage. This is not simply a rental investment home, it is our vacation home. Our guests constantly comment on our attention to detail and we are confident that you will too!
Why the Owner Chose Jekyll Island:
Too many beach vacation areas are nothing more than crowded tourist traps. Jekyll is unique in that as a 'gated' island, there is plenty of room to take in the expansive beaches and natural, unspoiled beauty of the Island without feeling crowded. It is like having your own deserted island, but with the amenities you want!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Peace and quiet in a beautiful tropical setting! We travel a lot and you would be hard pressed to experience a place like Jekyll without going outside the US. Try it, you will be glad you did!
