Welcome to Go Coastal Properties, LLC! We took the time to find a place, away from the stress and strain of the workplace, for all to enjoy; moreover, our secluded beachfront property is away from the crowds so that when you’re here on vacation, you can truly be on vacation. We are located adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful, historic St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest inhabited city in the nation. Founded in 1565, the city is rich in Spanish heritage.
This is a direct, ocean front, three-story townhome. There is no better ocean view setting in all of St. Augustine, with panoramic ocean and beach views from each of the east-facing patios in the living room and third floor bedroom. The ground floor bedroom has a walk-out patio to the dunes. This unit includes an attached garage, and access to the community center, tennis courts and pool as well as a clubhouse deck and walkway to the soft, sugar-sand beach, literally seconds away. This luxurious townhome is 1,600 square feet in size, with three bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms, and ample closet and storage space. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, full-sized washer and dryer unit, fireplace, and ceiling fans throughout just to name a few of the important amenities. Entertainment options include a 55-inch flat screen HD television in the living room and two 37-inch flat screen HD televisions in the larger bedrooms, cable television access, DVD players and a stereo. Internet service is also provided. With a sofa sleeper on the main floor, the townhome can easily accommodate 8 people.
Our townhome is a truly remarkable get-away for us…we know you will enjoy it too!

Overall, we had a very good experience renting this property and can recommend it with very few reservations. Specific pros and cons are listed below: PROS 1. The property was as described on the website. 2. The views from the balconies on the second and third floors were really great. 3. The property was clean. 4. The complex was well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pool that looked properly maintained. 5. The owner was very responsive to email and phone contact and very pleasant to work with. 6. The kitchen and second level bath look updated relatively recently (last 5 years, maybe?). 7. The kitchen was well equipped. 8. Big screen TVs were present in at least the two master bedrooms and the living room. 8. Ample parking exists for you and your guests. 9. Private beach access exists on the property very near the unit--very easy access. 10. There many restaurants nearby and a very nice grocery store is only minutes away. CONS 1. While clean, the property is starting to show its age. The third and first floor bathrooms look original to the property (80s?, 70s?). I'm sure the owners are slowly redoing things as necessary and to be clear, the property was clean. 2. Annoyingly, the third floor bed frame was not attached to the headboard and the bed slid around a bit when you got in and out. A throw rug or an better bed frame would help. 3. The picture on the main (second) level TV was a bit pixelated, so watching a sporting event or a bunch of action movies might bother you if you care about such things. I think this is due to having just basic cable as it appears the owners haven't sprung for the HDTV converter box. This was not an issue for us, but would have been if we had been there for the Super Bowl, for example. 4. If you have significant mobility issues (e.g.--need a scooter or wheelchair to get around), this is not the rental for you. The main living level is on the second floor and the stair cases are steep. It was a minor problem getting our aging mothers up the stairs, but we managed. 5. A minor thing--the pool is not heated, so no winter time swimming. In conclusion, we had a wonderful stay and I recommend this property. It would be hard to beat the location, the views, the beach access, or the convenience to shops and dining for the price we paid.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: We are glad to hear you had a nice time at our townhouse and thank you so much for your review. We love to hear about our renter’s adventures and experiences. This gives us a great opportunity to improve on the property. We’re glad to hear the unit was clean and in order and that the front office staff was friendly. We’ll definitely let them know they are doing a great job. You are correct about the updates in the townhouse. As new owners (less than 2 years), we are continually updating our unit. Not only have we updated the kitchen, we have also put in new stair rails, new carpet, a hot water heater, paint, new bedding, two new air conditioning units, new TV’s and numerous minor fixes here and there. It’s unfortunate to hear the main floor TV was not working properly, as it is less than 4 months old. We will look into that and the cable. We recently visited the property in November and found the television had exceptional clarity. We’re sorry to hear you had some reservations about the unit. We will definitely take care of the third floor bed. Great idea about a throw rug, although a new bed frame may be a more permanent fix. The townhouse would be more challenging for someone with mobility issues as there are multiple levels connected by stairs. We apologize for the inconvenience to your mothers. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to do anything about the beautiful pool, but there is a wonderful hot tub right next to the pool that feels great in the winter months. Thank you, again, for your kind words. We would love to have you as our guests again, so any time your travels bring you back to the St. Augustine area, please keep us in mind.

If you like a low key, laid back vacation, then this is the place for you! The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The views off of the balcony of the ocean were spectacular. The location was easy to get to from the airport. Quiet and peaceful. We had a great time and can't wait to return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: We are happy to hear you had such a nice, relaxing time. We, too, love to enjoy the peace and quiet of our place. You are right about the views from the balconies and listening to the ocean waves is so calming. Any time you need a vacation or have a longing to just get away from it all, we'd love to have you as our guests!

We arrived in Florida after an uneventful flight (always glad about that) Jacksonville airport is great. Had no trouble finding the condo. We were so please with our place to stay for the next week. Starting from the first floor which has the washer and dryer that come in so handy after a day on that beautiful beach. The second floor living area is spacious, absolutely spotless and I really like the decorating theme, palm trees and all. The kitchen was perfect. I liked the little sitting area walk out great for some of the fresh sea air. Those granite countertop are great. All three floors have patios I like the one off of the master bedroom. The sun rise and set were awsome. The master bedroom and bath are spacious. Didn't have to leave those suitcases out they fit nicely in that walk in closet. We thank you for sharing your home with the public we hope to return next year if you have any openings. As far as Old Town St Augustine I loved it. The best resturant was O'Steen that is not very far from the condo. Shrimp was outstanding we went more that once. Spent alot of time on the beach, just over the little bridge from the condo and there it was. Found a small bar The Beachcomber and enjoyed that for lunch a couple of times. I could go on and on, but we had a great time in your beautiful, spotless home. What a treat ! O I must add that the grounds around the condo are pretty. The swimming area with hot tub was great although we spend more of our time in the condo and on the beach. Thank you so muchRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We absolutely enjoyed our 5 day vacation. The only regret we had was that we couldn't stay for 25 more days. Townhome has lots of room, beautiful views, completely stocked for one week or a month's stay. We absolutely love the new granite countertops. The townhome was very clean & comfortable & easily accessible to restaurants, shopping, groceries, golfing, everything you need. Nice white sandy beaches with the calming ocean, far away from public access, the beach feels private. Watching the sunrise on the upper patio is spectacular. Can't wait to go back & stay much longer this time. We have already highly recommended it to several family & friends. We recommend golf @ Marsh Country Club, dining at Caps & Columbia, & visiting all the historical sites in St. Augustine.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We know what you mean about adding on a few extra days to your vacation. That's exactly how we feel every time we have to leave. Thanks so much for recommending our townhouse to your family and friends! We look forward to hearing from you again and hopefully you can stay a little longer next time.

It's sad that we had to spend the first day of vacation going to Publix picking up cleaning supplies before you can even think about enjoying your vacation!. The master shower rail was filled with gunk, mildew, hair, soap scum, yuck!! The master bath light switch gets dangerously hot and never turns completely off. I could not take my shoes off inside because the floors were filthy and left the bottom of my feet with very dark dirt stains. The comforters on the beds were not clean and had to be laundered and we washed the sheets as a result since being disgusted by everything else. Many of the dishes were not clean and looked as if they were just rinsed leaving oil like filth left behind on many of the dishes. Most of the silverware looked as if it were run threw the food grinder a few times leaving the ends chewed up. The dishwasher was completely disgusting as well with permanent stains and grime inside and some old food particles that didn't drain from the previous persons visit. There was also a blood stain on the downstairs bedskirt. The place is very outdated in a lot of aspects. The couches were dirty with stains all over them. There is a wicker type chair with oil stains up around where someones head would rest if they sat back in that nasty thing! Half of the doors would not lock and some won't even close. The downstairs bathroom door would not lock. The half bath door would not even close! The outside storm door would not lock. When I was carrying our baggage inside the unit, they were mowing the grass and I saw a beer can sitting out in the grass so what does the guy mowing do with it? He throws into the shrub next to the front door and that is where it stayed the entire week! Unbelievable! We stayed in a different Seawinds unit last year on vacation and it was a nightmare because the sheets were not even clean but things worked in that unit. I addressed the issues last year to the front office and was given a half refund for the cleaning fee and that is it. It was cleaned by me and my wife! Rediculous!! I didn't even address the issues with this unit to the front office this year because obviously it doesn't help anything get better. The cleaning staff they have at Seawinds is as poor as you can get! All it looked like anyone did was wash the sheets and make the bed. We had roaches in the cabinet as well. First day cleaning, last day looking for a new place to stay next year.... The sad thing is the place has potential, but never again!Owner response: We are very sorry that you were so unhappy with the condition of the unit. This townhouse is cleaned after every stay and we (the owners) also visit several times a year to check on the place. In fact, we just recently returned from a wonderful, relaxing vacation there and we found the unit to be extremely clean. Had you made us, or the property manager aware of any concerns during your visit, we would have remedied the situation immediately. To our knowledge, and to the knowledge of the property manager, this is the first indication of any such problems. We will certainly correct any issues that have been identified. We have also spoken with the Sea Winds Management to improve any issues associated with cleaning the unit. We appreciate your comments and are again sorry that you found the experience unpleasant. We are indeed sorry to have lost your business and that you won’t be staying at our place in the future

I spent an absolutely idyllic week at this property in early summer. I'd been to other parts of Florida before, but never to St. Augustine, and I was more than pleasantly surprised by how perfect this particular vacation spot was, both in terms of the property, the beach, and the offerings of the surrounding areas. The property itself is spacious, clean, modern, well furnished, full of amenities and conveniences, and outfitted with top of the line electronics and appliances. Multiple decks face the ocean, which is only feet away, and offer spectacular sunsets. A large family could comfortably stay in the place without feeling like people were on top of one another, as the layout provides maxium comfort and privacy and could hold a crowd without ever feeling "crowded." The walk to the beach is only a few hundred feet through a beautiful protected marshland and the beach itself is the cleanest I've ever seen in the U.S. Absolutely pristine, never too over-run with people, and perfect for swimming, a little surfing, jogging, and shell collecting. On days where we didn't feel like swimming in the ocean, the property's spacious pool offered a perfect alternative. In terms of location, this place is the perfect blend of being sufficiently off the beaten path to not feel too crowded or noisy, yet with easy access to shops, grocery stores, a number of great little restaurants and bars, and of course, the outlet shops and downtown St. Augustine, which are both well worth the visit. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind, relax, and have a great time in a place that feels like a home away from home. My only recommendation is that you be sure to rent or bring a car, as it makes a big difference in terms of getting supplies and going out now and then. That said, with proper planning one could also easily just arrive here and stay put for the duration of their holiday without ever feeling a need to leave. It's a little slice of paradise.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed in this condo with our grown children and 3 year old grandson. The seven of us were completely comfortable with all the comforts of home! The location of this property couldn't be better. We sat out on the third story deck and could see dolphins just past the break on several occassions. We also spotted sea turtles nesting from the patio. Our perfect beach spot was a 1 minute walk made eaeasier by "Barneys Beach Services" which will set up chairs, umbrellas and/or tents in the same spot all week. The condo was spotless, the kitchen appliances were all top notch and the condo itself is roomy and decorated beautifully. We hope to go back!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: We are so glad you enjoyed our townhouse. That is awesome that you were there to see the dolphins and sea turtles nesting. It's definitely a great spot for nature watching. We are excited to hear about "Barney's Beach Services". What a nice convenience to be able to head to the beach and know everything is all set up for you. That will definitely be at the top of our list on our next visit. We hope that you and your family will return often to enjoy our townhouse on the sugar sand beaches of historic St. Augustine.

About the owner: Go Coastal is two families, representing Colorado and Illinois, with a shared set of beliefs. We believe that winter in the Rockies and the Midwest can be cold and long, that it’s a great idea to get away from it all once in a while, and that a vacation at the beach with friends and family relaxes and rejuvenates.
Why the Owner Chose Sea Winds:
We were looking for a place in Florida on the Atlantic with beautiful beaches, minimal crowds, easy to get to, a variety of non-beach entertainment options, and good restaurants. While we always planned to rent it, we also looked for a place that we would want to go back to trip after trip, believing that if we liked it that much others would too. After a few exploratory trips, we settled on St. Augustine since it meets all of those criteria. And after looking at a range of properties in St. Augustine we fell in love with this place.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
This place has something for everyone. It holds one large family or two small families with room to spare. It’s fully equipped if you feel like making your own meals, and near hundreds of restaurants if you’d rather go out. The beach is fabulous—one of the cleanest on the Atlantic coast—and being on the ocean you can come and go all day long without worrying about parking. And at the end of the day there are countless ways to kick back and relax, either indoors, on the patio, or on one of the two decks overlooking the ocean.
