Being relatively new to VRBO vacation stays we contacted multiple listings looking for just the right stay. We soon found out that the estimated stay for most postings didn't include multiple additional expenses like convenience fees, mandatory damage insurance, etc which added hundreds of dollars. We were pleasantly surprised when we happened upon Katherine's listing. The pictures looked almost too good to be true, the price seemed right. We were already familiar with the complex because we had researched other condo's in the same property. We contacted Katherine and were pleased to find the cost of rental was almost exactly what posted on web page. The only additions were the required state taxes. Reserving the condo was quite simple. Katherine was quick to reply to all inquiries and provided detailed information regarding the reservation process, etc. While others with condo's in this property tried to downplay the coquina rocks on the private beach Katherine was very honest, advising most people don't have issue with them, and for best experience should plan beach time at low tide. We were offered the chance to purchase damage and vacation insurance. We had planned (like previous years) to purchase both but felt so comfortable with our dealings with Katherine that we decided not to go the extra expense. We arrived at the complex on Saturday afternoon and were immediately impressed with the grounds and how peaceful it was. Once entering the condo we were surprised to find everything looked exactly as pictured. Our time there just flew by. The beds were so comfy, a perfect end to each busy day. The pools were wonderful, especially the heated one! The beach was nice and very quiet. The rock formations were beautiful and the girls enjoyed poking around them looking for sharks teeth and seeing some little ocean critters. We took Katherine's advice and visited the beach at Marineland only 1 mile north where the girls had a blast playing in waves with their boogie boards. This condo is not in the middle of busy tourist area. The building and grounds were very peaceful and all that we met were friendly. It was exactly what two busy/tired parents with two very active girls needed to recharge. Thank You Katherine and George. If we plan another trip to your area we will be sure to check if your condo is available.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Rich, thank you so much for the fantastic 5 STAR review. It was an absolute pleasure working with you to help plan your vacation. Vacations like this make memories that will last a lifetime for you and your family. We would love to have y'all back to make even more fond memories. Kindest Regards - Katherine

The condo was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We liked the fact that the deck was accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom. We loved waking up with the sun in our faces (you can close the shades). The furniture was lovely and comfortable. The master bathroom was huge! The pool area was large and well laid out. Although there are not many restaurants nearby, it is an easy trip to St Augustine. We also visited Fort Matanzas Park and Marineland. The one disappointment was that storm Sandy has washed away the beach - but there are several nice walking beaches within easy driving distance.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The condo was very nicely decorated and quite comfortable, expecially the beds, and very clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The balcony was great from sun-up to sundown, never receiving direct sunlight, quite pleasant for lunch and with a beautiful view! The parking garage was great, and the overall security was excellent. The location of the condo, away from congestion was nice and quiet which suited us just fine and yet close enough to the town of Palm Coast for anything we could have wanted. We enjoyed the sightseeing up and down the coast: Washington Oaks, Matanza state park, fort and beach and Flagler Beach. We spent a great day at Kennedy Space Center (about 2 hrs. south) and another spectacular day at Blue Spring State Park with the manatees (about l l/2 hrs south) . It was agreed by all that it was definitely a place to go back to. Thank you Katherine for being so helpful and great to work with.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I was really impressed with the unit we stayed in. Everything looked and felt comfortable. Like being at home. The view from the balcony was beyond words. The blue of the ocean, the green of the trees and the beautiful rocks. Never have I seen a beach such as this one. We had children with us and they had a wonderful time. The beach, the pool and just doing nothing. The kids really liked the huge waves, and I do mean huge. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private beach, relaxation, looking at history (rocks) over thousands of years. Great place to go.Did you find this review helpful? My son and I enjoyed another fabulous vacation at this "Oceanfront Paradise." The condo was immaculate and provided all the amenities of home plus more! The view is unbeatable to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and the landscaping of the complex is gorgeous. This condo is close to all the attractions and shopping in St. Augustine yet private enough to enjoy some quiet time away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend this condo for anyone interested in traveling to this area; you won't be disappointed!! I will continue to return year after year!Did you find this review helpful? The condo was tastefully decorated and exceeded all of our expectations. The condo was close to all of the amenities that you need but remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We enjoyed the local restaurants (JTs Seafood Shack along with Flagler Fish Company). Had a great time fishing, watching local wildlife, and ships on the Intercoastal Waterway at Bing's Park.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hi Katherine - We had a wonderful time, and we both fell in love with the area! The condo was everything we hoped it would be, and watching the World Series on your brother's 55 inch TV was terrific. The beach and coquina rocks are stunning, and my husband could not get enough of the golf in the area. We certainly plan to come back and hope to stay 2 weeks next year. We will definitely be in touch...... and hope the condo is available for our next stay. Thanks for everything and look forward to talking to you next year. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. I am really anal retentive when it comes to sleeping on other people's sheets, using their dishes, etc and I was amazing at how immaculately clean everything was. The condo smelled wonderful. The view was more than we expected...in fact everything was more than we expected. I almost hate to put such a review up because we always want the place available for us! This is a great deal for the money, Katherine was wonderful to work with, and Palm Coast is just the best in our opinion. We went into Flagler one night for dinner and had a great time. The beach access is wonderful and I truly can not think of one thing I'd make improvements on! Thank you so so much and we will be back!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We had the most wonderful time at your condo last week. Katherine is absolutely the best at working out the fine details. The pictures and description only show so much - the condo is out of this world. I did not want to leave!! Our family had a great time at this condo. We always have a wonderful time in Palm Coast and return every year. If you are going for total R&R, this is your place. It is like a preserve. Away from all the business of life. The beach is not crowded, nor the pool. We like having our space and we get that here. There are great restaurants found in St. Augustine and on this trip, we found a new favorite. It is Cap's on the Water. Great sunset sitting. Wonderful atmosphere on the water. Love it. Also tried the Pirate voyage on the Black Raven and our whole family loved that too! Our cheeks hurt because we laughed and smiled so much. St. Augustine is just a beautiful place, full of our country's oldest history. When our family returns to our secret Palm Coast retreat, we will not have to search for a good place to stay, we found it! Thanks for making our stay simple and seamless. God Bless!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
