Love long walks on the beach?....Well then you will not have far to go ...Aceituna's House (aka Olive's House) is only 10 steps to the sand.
The views from every area are breathtaking...tired of renting houses that say 'Beachfront' only to get there and find you are actually 2nd row with somewhat of an unobstructed view...you won't get that at Aceituna's.
Something for everyone ...badmitton, horseshoes, grilling, beach fun, laying out and if the heat is not for you...we have books and games in the air conditioning along with a Wii and Xbox so kids bring your games!!
Love to fish...well you are in luck, the fishing on this stretch of beach is AWESOME...this area has been known to reel in some really great catches!
Don't want to stay in...Spanish Grant is approx 6.5 miles from the start of many many many things to do on the Seawall and famous Galveston Strand...movies, putt putt golf, shopping and way to many fantastic places to eat to mention. Don't forget Moody Garden and Schliterbahn are not far away either!
However, if you do feel like staying in, you can enjoy throwing some steaks on the pit and enjoying a glass of wine on the downstairs deck with fantastic views and a wonderful breeze, that are in my opinion, the best at Aceituna's. We have recently added a FANTASTIC outdoor kitchen that comes equipped with a state of the art gas grill with rotisserie so you can enjoy the beach at the same time! (pictures coming soon)
The upstairs kitchen is fully equiped to cook a gourmet meal and a full size washer and dryer makes things very easy for a long stay!
This property is owner managed so if you are celebrating something special and want to surprise that special someone with flowers or chocolate covered strawberries or maybe a birthday cake......let me know and I will do what I can to accomadate your needs.

-Refundable security deposit of $550 required

My girl friends and I rented this house for the weekend and enjoyed every minute! There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to relax and rest. The house is located close enough to Galveston attractions although we didn't leave once we arrived! This is the cleanest beach house that I've ever stayed in! Updated appliances, 2 head walk in shower, beautiful hardwood floors. huge deck under house and comfy couch. The view from the house is amazing! Great house and looking forward to staying again!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our stay was everything we thought that it could be! The house is literally on the beach. Far enough away from the public beaches yet close enough to stores & restaurants. From sunrises to sunsets, the view from the balcony deck was awesome!! The listing photos were accurate. The beds were comfortable & the facilities clean! Not much more to want for a stay on Galveston beach! Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodations for a large group!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We have been married for 25 years and have spent many a dollars renting beach houses all over Galveston Island. This year we stayed in a house in Spanish Grant and fell in love with the subdivision and the beach! That's when we knew it was time to buy our own and share it with everyone else. Our two boys (who are almost grown men) are very happy about our decision...we thought how great it would be to use it a lot and share it the rest of the year...I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!
Why the Owner Chose Spanish Grant:
The beaches are very clean......that was a huge attraction for us. We love to walk on the beach, so for it to be clean and mostly seaweed free is a huge perk!
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
I love to sit on the bottom deck... the views of the water are fantastic. We have a 2 person chair on the bottom deck that has a small table in the middle and we love to sit and drink our coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening...keeps you young to enjoy life everyday!
