This home is just steps from the beach, coffee (my favorite), bars, restaurants and minutes away from downtown. The property is family friendly or perfect for an adult getaway. It had everything we needed. The master suite was large and beautifully done and livingroom was comfortable. The property was super clean (with kids that is important). It also has a nice little patio/yard area to my surpise that is not pictured. Owner was great and very accommodating. My husband and I loved this property.Did you find this review helpful? We really enjoyed the stay at this beach home right off the beach in Alki. Very accommodating for 4 -6 people easy! Property was clean and well kept with nice bedrooms and baths. Kitchen was small but had everything needed to make any meal. Restaurants, bars, and shops within 5 min walk or 5 min in car. We will return soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, together with our friends from Colorado, rented this house last week. We had a total of six people and we could not have been happier. The house was immaculately clean , linens were freshly laundered, and everything was in perfect order. Wayne, the owner, met us at the house and conducted a walk through so we knew where everything was at. He also offered tips for local businesses and keeps tourist information readily available in the dining area. This house has it all. recently remodeled baths, spacious bedrooms, vintage charm, outdoor space, proximity to the beach, and PARKING. We will return without hesitation and recommend it highly (even though it means you may have it booked the next time we want to visit...haha). When you go, do yourself a favor and visit Pegasus Pizza...it's awesome!!! Quit looking...if you want to visit Alki Beach...this is the place to be!Did you find this review helpful? Everything about our experience in this house was wonderful! The house is clean, cozy, sunny and well appointed. The house is just a few steps from the beach and from wonderful dining. We lovee taking long walks along the beach for miles without crossing any roads. The views were amazing! To see the snow capped mountains across the Sound everyday made us fell like we were in paradise. Our Seattle experience is unforgettable. Would recommend this house to anyone at all interested, it really did feel like home. Wayne, the owner, was more than accomodating. We definitely will be returning!Did you find this review helpful? Perfect for a relaxing vacation with several restaurants within walking distance. Small home that is big on comfort, even with a larger group you can make it work. The beach just a block away offered great walks and views. Would stay here again tomorrow.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Enjoying the stay here far exceeded my wife and my expectations. It was a quiet retreat from downtown Seattle, yet only 15 minutes away by water taxi. We were visiting our daughter who lives in the city and the last time we visited we rented a place in the city. There was no place to park and had our rental car towed! It was great to come back after a long day of exploring and to have a "reserved parking spot". And it only got better! The private yard with patio furniture, fire pit, and gas grill was the best when we had a cook out with our daughter and her friends. There is plenty of room for people to stay over. Bring a camera with you when take the short walk to the beach and local restaurants, which are great! The first night,after a long flight from the East Coast, we got an excellent pizza from the Pegasus restaurant and retired early. The next morning with coffee in hand, we went to the front porch to enjoy the start of the day and low and behold the Seattle Times had been delivered, thanks Wayne!! And also, thank you for checking with us to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is my first experience with these types of rentals and they have completely changed my mind. The house itself was amazing and so beautiful. The pictures are exactly what you get. Having the private patio, fire pit, and grilling space makes such a difference. It was relaxing to have people over and feel like you are at home. We brought my nephew and he enjoyed every minute as there was ample space for him to run and play. The washer and dryer in the house was a plus. Thank you again Wayne for everything and we will be back soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved our stay at this little beach cottage. It was just a short walk from Alki Beach. Everything was immaculate and updated. The kitchen was convenient for breakfast and the occasional dinner at home. Loved that we were just a short drive away from the city, but life in Alki was a much more relaxed pace. We would definitely stay there again. The owner was very prompt in addressing questions. We definitely appreciated it. My only suggestion would be for more washcloths, as all but two had evidently gone home with previous visitors. :^) We would highly recommend this little cottage to friends and would stay there again if our travels allowed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The best thing about this house is the location - seconds from Alki beach, the park with a fabulous view and good restaurants. Downtown Seattle is easily accessible, but we really enjoyed exploring the communities of West Seattle - lots of local shops and unique restaurants. Our favourite area was the junction of California Avenue and Alaska street. The house itself is way nicer than in the photos. The kitchen had everything in it we needed, and we did cook a bit. The downstairs was a real hit with my teenager - his own space complete with TV and bathroom made him very happy. and everything was spotlessly clean. The patio is really well done - and would be a lovely place to sit if it doesn't rain! The owner was very helpful, and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely go back here next time we go to Seattle.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The house was great, very clean and nicely decorated. It was bigger than I expected and worked great for our family of 4. We absolutely loved this little cottage on Alki Beach. The Alki area is great for adults and kids alike. The cottage is in great condition and has everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay there again! The owner was very attentive and so helpful. We stayed here for the one night we were in town. The house is only one block from the beach. Walking distance to great cafes and coffee shops. The house was a fabulous find. Very clean and well maintained. The super sized King bed was fabulous and so were the remodeled bathrooms. Plenty of space if you had a bigger group as the living room was pretty large. The pictures of the patio don't do it justice. Its a great spot for meals or just coffee. The mid morning sun hits the patio at the perfect time and being in a quiet neighborhood made for a very relaxing time. The owner, Wayne was great. Very helpful and flexible. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place to anyone considering staying around the Alki area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house was great for our needs! We had 8 people staying for three nights, and between the two beds, a fold out futon in the master bedroom, and a double size sofa bed in the living room, we had plenty of space. Even with all of those beds folded out, there was a LOT of extra space in the master bedroom and the living room. The house was recently remodeled, so almost everything is brand new or refreshed. The patio was great for a brunch, the neighborhood is very quiet, and it's only a block walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants on Alki Beach, including Starbucks and Tully's Coffee. There is a 24 hour Safeway about a 5-7 minute drive away back on California Ave. The pictures are accurate and the quality of the stay matched the charm of them! I would definitely rent this place again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for 5 days in August and were extremely happy with it. The place was spotless, bed was really comfy, bathrooms are 4- or 5-star hotel quality, the master suite downstairs was quite spacious. Location is awesome, few steps to the beach with so many excellent dining options & a short drive to the many attractions in Seattle.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay in West Seattle. The house was very convenient by car or bus. The bus that stops a half block away takes you all the way to downtown Seattle. The is also a water taxi a ways down the beach that takes you right into downtown. Wayne was very helpful and friendly. The house is in great shape and is very large and comfortable. We would definitely consider staying at this place the next time we visit Seattle.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
