  My fiance and I needed a place to get some R&R from the craziness of our lives and wedding planning. This wonderful cottage was perfect! Our host was kind and gave us the space we needed. The cottage was very clean, with many amenities. The bed was quite possibly the most comfortable we've ever slept on while on vacation! If you have a car, it is close to shops and supermarkets, 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, and set in a peaceful, lovely area.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  Personally have never stayed in a VRBO, so I was cautiously optimistic! I prefer resort accommodations. This cottage/guesthouse met my expectations. Words that come to mind: beautiful, peaceful, wood burning fireplace, picture books, hot tea, safe, nature, luxury linens, retreat, clean. Home away from home feel. Enjoyed our stay.

  Visited Sta Barbara for the first time with my husband and our 12 year old son for spring break. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this cottage/guest house. Perfect size for us -- spacious living area, full kitchen, large bathroom, walk in closet, etc. The masters bedroom had the most comfortable bed and they had a loft area that was perfect for our son! Everything in this house is updated and furnishings are very pottery-barn like, which reminds us of home. We were welcome to use the pool as well but it was still too cold. The grounds/garden are very well maintained and it was a treat just to sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains too! Location was in a very nice residential area about 10-15 mins drive from Sta. Barbara/State Street area. You will not be disappointed

  The cottage was wonderful for our 4 night visit to Monticeto! There is plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked and we grilled dinner two nights. The bedding and towels were excellent. The decor and landscaping was very attractive. we will try to come back.

  We had an absolutely wonderful week in Montecito at this property. Everything we hoped for and more. The pool was warm, a truly gracious host, very comfortable bed and bedding. We loved the outdoor shower, not sure my son or I actually ever used the inside one although it looked nice too. We can't wait to go back. Close to everything although a car is probably necessary.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We booked last minute for quick getaway. This was the perfect place, pictures and adjectives don't do it justice! This cottage is absolutely charming, and beautifully decorated with great taste, style and flair, even down to the towels and linens which were luxurious! We relaxed by the pool, ate outside and felt as though we were miles from anywhere, yet everything is so close and convenient. Reggie the delightful owner welcomed us warmly and was so helpful yet not at all intrusive. We used to stay in hotels, but not any more, this is far better ....we can't wait to come back!
