We stayed from 9/8/2012 - 9/12/12 and the time went by too fast. This little slice of heaven was everything that we could have asked for and more. The hosts Jim and Joanne were wonderful and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family had a great time on Cayuga. The camper was more than we expected and hosts were so welcoming! We loved the privacy and friendliness of Honoco Rd. Our kids LOVED Long Point State Park and the bike ride there from the camper was great for young kids to manage. Our day trip to the vineyard and Ithaca were lovely. Next time we are definitely hitting the Science Centre! We cannot Wait to come back! 4HaddiesRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We rented the RV on Cayuga Lake for a week with our two children. What a wonderful vacation for all of us! The RV was clean, well stocked and perfect for our needs. I don't know what my kids liked better: having a campfire right next to the beautiful lake or fishing off the dock. They also enjoyed swimming in the lake and riding their bikes around the small community. My husband and I enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the dock and eating our meals on the deck while watching the boats on the lake. We highly recommend this rental due to the fact it's exactly as advertised, the location can't be beat - you are in the middle of everything - and the owners are so easy and great to work with. We hope to go back someday - maybe without the children!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! The camper is adorable and fit both of us wel, even though we are on the tall side. Everything was very well cleaned and organized! We are very active and enjoyed fishing, biking, going for walks and boating. (We rented one from a local company.) We also had advice from Aurora locals and the staff at Heart & Hands Winery on what to do and where to go. Thanks to them we had little wild life adventures such as enjoying a local waterfall, seeing an eagles nest and where to get coffee in the AM when we didnt feel like making it. The most amazing part for me was enjoy local wine and cheese on the dock at sunset! I dont think life gets any better than that! We have told all of our friends about what an amazing place this is!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

If what you're looking for is a get-away where you can do as much, or as little (!) as you'd like, this is the place to be. We enjoyed walks and beautiful sunsets and sunrises (had breakfast on the dock each morning at 5 a.m.!). As soon as we arrived, it was very clear how much attention to detail Jim and Joanne had put into our arrival - right down to flowers on the picnic table! The camp was very clean and stocked with those conveniences you may have forgotten. It was clear the only thing left for their guests to do is RELAX and ENJOY ...! Jim/Joanne - thanks so much for giving us the ability to recharge in such a beautiful setting!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Our three daughters always wanted to stay in an RV, but since we are very reluctant to drive one, this offered a perfect solution: we stayed for two nights, and this was really a fantastic vacation - first and foremost thanks to Joanne's and Jim's warm hospitality and their careful attention to detail. We got to see the lake in all its glory and in different moods (it rained hard the first morning) - and the girls were delighted. The RV is perhaps better suited to accommodate four campers rather than five, but the sleeping arrangements merely added to the sense of adventure. This is one break we'll never forget!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.
