The Evening Star sleeps 5 (Two upstairs in the private Master Suite, 2 on the Pull out Couch in the Living Room and 1 on a Roll-Away). This easy living 1 Bedroom / 2 Bath cottage home is located at the topside of the pasture of the Garden Hamlet of Highland Lake. Finishes include hardwood floors, stainless steal appliances, granite countertops – Pure Luxury! Loaded with lots of charm this cottage home has been professionally decorated and it is easy to see all the attention to detail, design, comfort and convenience that help add to the character of this charming home. With a great view from the large covered porch on the pasture side you and your guests can grill out or just laze away the days in this one of kind vacation retreat! Enjoy roaming our 26 wooded acres of take a romantic stroll by our 40 acre lake.
Exclusive guest arrival amenities in the Evening Star include: 2 complimentary bottles of wine, 1 complimentary bottle of spring water, starter gourmet coffee service and a starter compliment of luxury “Tommy Bahamas” bath, shower and lotion toiletries. Luxury and Convenience Features in the Evening Star include: Flat Panel TV’s (Cable Service & DVD Players Included), Free Wireless Internet Access and Local Phone Service. Incidental Amenities Note: Free boat usage at the LakeHouse Lodge and Spa at Highland Lake is included with the rental of Evening Star.
Seasonal swimming pool use at The Highland Lake Inn at Highland Lake is available with the rental of the Evening Star for a fee paid directly to the Highland Lake Inn. Ask reservation agent for details regarding both these incidental amenities.
Dining is also available within walking distance, at award winning Seasons Restaurant, located within Highland Lake. Season's is far removed from the daily noise and hustle of everyday life, yet still only five minutes from the quaint shops of downtown Hendersonville. A wonderful surprise getaway from my husband for my birthday! Very enjoyable and relaxing. The Evening Star Cottage is adorable, comfortable and I could live here! Nestled at the end of the goat pasture, you can sit on the back porch and watch the goats grazing in the pasture or just relax and read a good book. I love the layout of this cottage, with french doors and open windows overlooking the beautiful scenery, we found the beds to be comfy and the cottage fit our needs perfectly! Everyone at Highland Lakes is so friendly and we really enjoyed the meals we had at Season's Restaurant. Having the ability to cook and grill our own meals at the cottage was very enjoyable, with stores just a short distance away if supplies or groceries were needed. Absolutely loved the visits from the white peacock and the yoga classes that are offered right there a short walk from the cottage, are great!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
