If you want to have it all, this is the place! Enjoy a serene sunrise with the company of swans, ducks, great blue herons, and big bass jumping 20 feet off the end of the dock. Swim on your 80 foot beach, cruise the Huron River and Portage Chain of Lakes, or just relax on your deck and watch the world go by. If shopping, fine restaurants, museums, theaters, or live music would enhance your vacation, Ann Arbor is one-half hour away.

Our home is on Baseline Lake, an all-sports lake and home of the University of Michigan Sail Club. It is in the Pinckney recreation area, which provides access to horseback riding, excellent hiking, and mountain biking. It is on the Huron River which is abundant with wildlife, connects nine lakes, and has a family/sports restaurant/bar at the end of the river chain that makes great pizza. Pontoon boat, canoe, and kayak rentals are available in the area or bring your own boat. A covered boat hoist that accommodates a 20-foot boat and a PWC hoist are available adjacent to the 120-foot dock. The water is shallow for most of the 120 feet and is about five feet deep at the end.

The house itself has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has two twin beds, and bedroom #3 has a trundle bed (and a treadmill and an exercise bike with a view of the lake and a TV). The sofa in the living room converts to a queen-size bed. The kitchen is completely equipped, including a dishwasher and microwave. The 1000 square foot deck is furnished with a picnic table, two lounge chairs, a double chair settee, and other outdoor chairs.

Well mannered dogs are allowed. No cats please - owner is very allergic! Smoking allowed outside.

Weekly Rental: Friday after 4:00 pm with check-out Friday by 10:00 am.
Weekly Rate:   $2000/week. $750 Deposit required to secure dates.
Cancellation Policy: 60 days notification prior to rental date for full refund.
Security Deposit:    The $750 deposit required to reserve dates, will be refunded
within 3 weeks of check-out, based on property inspection.
