The Blue Dog Lodge Is nestled on 175 very private feet of water frontage. There are 4 bedrooms (one of which is a loft) & 2 baths PLUS an attached bunk room that sleeps 6. There is also a new cabana that offers shower, sink & dressing room.
You can rent the main house only (4 bedrooms & 2 baths) or rent the house AND bunk room. (Bunk room is attached to the house.)
A large central room (900 sq ft) with vaulted ceiling provides the very open kitchen with large bar, dining (table seats 10) and large living area. You step out to a covered porch with fans...all this overlooks the lake...and the views are spectacular!
The dock is enormous (party size!). There is an extra large swim dock with slide, boat house with lifts, extra boat slip, jet ski ramp, fish cleaning station, etc.
The Lake Bruin Country Club is 5 minutes away (golfing, swimming & tennis) and the town of St. Joseph is 4 minutes away.
It's a great place...you'd LOVE it!

The Lodge was renting by my nephew. The family had used the state park for previous reunions. There had been illnesses and accidents for the family members who usually did all the planning and obtaining the area for the reunion. Therefore, my nephew knew of your rentals. So glad the lodge was available!!! It was an AWESOME place!!! Very lovely decorated, great floor plan, and from inside the view of the lake was breathe taking...quite like the readings of how it would be in the Hamptons...plan to visit again...will bring a Danielle Steel romance novel with me on the next visit...took a look at the Oxbow Lodge hope my nephew can book it for the next reunion...thanks for a great place...i fell in love with it there...no more B&B's...Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family rented this house for a week in August. We had a great time. The view of the lake is spectacular from the house. The house is so comfortable and the decor is so creative. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. We had several kids so we rented the "Bunk Room" too and this gave the kids a place to retreat to.The dock is great. We put up a pop-up cabana for more shade and this helped. Loved the location, near the main road and 4 minutes from the store. Great Place.... We will be back.
