This condo was an outstanding delight to stay in for our week in Tucson. It was located within nominal distance of the sights of Tucson (ie Desert Museum, Old Tucson Studios, San Xavier Mission, Pima Air Museum, Titan Missile Museum and the University of Arizona to name a few that we visited). Dick was a great host, greeting us upon arrival and seeing that our stay was enjoyable upon leaving. The condo was quiet considering it was close to Skyline Drive, had all the amenities for a group of four. The pool was used by our kids, the only thing lacking was a couple of tennis raquets for the tennis court. Overall, property is well maintained and was a tremendous experience to stay at with all of the things necessary to enjoy our stay in Tucson. Would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Tucson.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Arizona is the perfect area to escape from the winter and, aside from torrential rain on the first couple of days, the weather was warm, sunny with blue skies every day. Dick (the owner's Dad) arrived at the condo, on his Harley, just as we pulled up. Dick made us very welcome and gave us a comprehensive overview. The condo was very well equipped. Everything we could possibly need in the kitchen was there - except a measuring jug (we English like volumes. not just cups!), so we have contributed one to the resources. There was also plenty of linen, towels, books/ local info to read and very welcome high-speed WiFi. Overall, the condo was very comfortable and warm and the King-sized bed was great; there's nothing worse than staying away from home in a bad bed! The only negative/advisory comment we would make (although none of the other reviewers have commented) is that the main window of the bedroom (solely this room) faces straight towards Skyline Drive, and the commuter traffic starts up really early (around 5.30 a.m.). For light sleepers, or people like us who normally live in a rural environment, ear plugs might be an idea. Tierra Catalina complex is a very attractive development far to the north of down-town Tucson, nestling on the slopes of the spectacular Catalina Foothills. Many an evening we were out on the balcony watching the setting sun as the Catalinas turned blood red - wonderful. One of the best places to watch the sun setting over Tucson was also at the very up-market La Encantada Mall. Besides the fancy shops (e.g. Tiffany), there are great restaurants, a wonderful food store, and a Gelato shop. "Frost" that sells low-fat ice creams to die for! You don't even have to drive there, it's just a five minute stroll along a side-walk that runs all the way. Although, judging by the number of automobiles parked around the complex, lots of people were staying there, we hardly saw anyone during our stay. Aside from ourselves, we never saw anyone at the main pool or spa, even though they are kept immaculate and very warm. It's possible to just chill out and spend your time relaxing at Tierra Catalina. For us though, it was a mixture of day trips out on our hired Harley, to amazing places like Tombstone, The Old Tucson Studios, or getting walking on some of the fantastic hiking trails, literally minutes from the Condo. We were really sad to leave the Condo/Tucson/Arizona a week ago. That's what a great vacation is all about.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

Our son lives in Tucson and since he owns a cat and my husband is allergic to cats we are unable to stay with him. Therefore, we needed a place where we could cook Thanksgiving Dinner for the three of us and a couple of our sons friends. This Condo was PERFECT!!!! Comfortable, Clean, Well equipped plus more.... What you see in the ad is what you get..... Jeana and her father, Dick, were so helpful in making our visit with our son for Thanksgiving a memorable one. He lives only 1 mile away and that, or course, was very convenient. Loved the fact that it is just around the corner from my favorite Mall, La Encantada. Thank You Jeana and Dick. You are wonderful hosts. Hope to see you on our next visit with our son......Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My family needed a temporary place to live until our house was ready to move into and we found the perfect spot. The condo is in the best possible location in Tucson, with spectacular views of the mountains and the city. The condo has everything you will need from cooking to pure relaxation. The owners and managers of the property were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this rental.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My husband and I just stayed at this Condo. The Condo was so well appointed we could relax and enjoy our vacation. Jeana had thought of everything - coffee, spices, milk, cookies, laundry detergent, extra everything. Condo was very clean with the best of everything in appliances. Location is great for anything you plan to do in Tucson. The view from the balcony of the mountains could not be beat. We will stay again when we return to Tucson.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
