My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. It was amazing! The owners were so helpful and prompt to reply to our emails leading up to our stay and they even left us an incredible salmon filet in the freezer direct from Alaskan waters. Delicious! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and you feel like you are staying in a 5 star hotel. The downstairs bedroom was an awesome little hideaway and the bed was so comfortable. Overall, this house is a MUST when staying in Seattle! From the sunny front living room, to the luxury details in the bathrooms, to the gorgeous views from the kitchen, this house is a perfect home away from home and we can't wait to stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The kitchen nook and patio face the Sound which is beautiful, great patio, the grill is a great touch. Located in a great neighborhood very close to downtown and Seattle Center. We took evening walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed all the eclectic architecture. Comfortable beds and enough space to entertain three generations. Lynn responded quickly to our questions and even shared some delicious salmon with us!Owner response: Thanks for visitiing Seattle! Hope to see you here again :) Bend isn't that far away...Cheers, Lynn

We love the house and neighborhood so much, we're beginning to think it's our own summer home! The small town feel, yet its just around the corner from downtown Seattle gives us the best of both worlds. The view is amazing and the house with all its amenities make it so renter-friendly. Thank you! We'll be back next summer (and maybe sooner)! Aloha, The AposRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much for visiting with us again. Sorry I missed you this trip. Safe Travels, Mahalo and Aloha until next time... Lynn

We stayed in this home for 2 weeks at the end of June for a family vacation. I emailed many times with Lynn and she was very helpful with all of my questions. The house was immaculate and so cozy and everything we could have imagined. We had a BBQ with family that live in the area, we had many nights out on the patio watching the sun set. (very late sunset vs. southern Calif, which was such a treat) We walked into town a few times, where the people were super friendly. And downtown Seattle was very close to drive when we wanted. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. When we wanted to make dinners, it seemed like everything we needed was right there. We spent lots of time in the kitchen, just enjoying the view. We loved this house and would highly recommend it.Owner response: Thank you for the nice reveiw. We are glad you enjoyed the views and sunsets on Elliot Bay. We hope you are able to visit again! Cheers, Lynn

Our family loved this house in Seattle. The location and views were spectacular! The layout, size, furnishings, and decor were just perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was clean and the yard neat. Everything was in working order, including the grill on the nice little back patio. We liked that it was in a lovely, quiet neighborhood but was not far from main roads and easy access to main attractions. And in addition to all that, the weather cooperated and we got some blue sky and sunshine. We would definitely return here on a future trip.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed in this home for 4 night late April 2012. Everything about the property was first class from the moment contact was made with Lynn the owner. The house is perfect. The location is quiet and close to some lovely local restaurants and is only a short commute to downtown Seattle. I will recommend this home to friends if they are travelling to Seattle and hope to return myself in the near future. Loved everything about this home. Perfect for families and couples.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks so much Andrew! Hope to have you visit Seattle again :) Also, thank you for your thoughtfulness and the lovely bottle of wine! Our Australian Visitors Rock! Well all our visitors Rock :) so your in great company! Take Care, Lynn

We loved our weekend at the home and didnt want to leave. Everything was very neat and clean. We were lucky to have so many sunny days and made use of the back yard all day. The down stairs room is much cooler than the rest of the house so be prepaired on colder nights. Overall I would love to stay again and would recomend to everyone!!Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I rented the house for 3 weeks to explore Seattle and learn more as we are thinking of moving there some day. Each of our children joined us for their week of College break. The house is a great location, incredible views - especially from the office. We watched a bald eagle most days visiting off of the cliff. We loved that we could drive into Seattle within about 5 minutes. We ate at some wonderful restaurants, shopped at great stores, did lots of tours - recommend the Savor Seattle Food tour especially. We loved walking along Magnolia Blvd with our dog, exploring the hills and valleys of Magnolia and walking into Magnolia's business district. Discovery Park is amazing - a long walk, but very beautiful, and we also enjoyed the Ballard Farmer's Market while there. Access to the neighborhood was great and not much traffic for being so close into town. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to rent the house again some day!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for the nice review! Glad you enjoyed and helped you identify communiites that you enjoy in the area. Magnolia is a great place to live! All the best, Lynn

My family (my husband, myself and our children ages 4 and 7yrs ) stayed in this beautiful home over the thanksgiving holiday. We hosted our extended family and had everything we needed to cook, bake, serve and seat 12 people. It was wonderful. Lynn even went out of her way to bring us fine china for our holiday dinner. It was so much more than we could have asked for. We plan to stay in this beautiful home with amazing views (you have to see it for yourself... ) many more times. It is conveniently located, very clean and well kept. Perfect for my family. Thank you Lynn and Norm!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1
