This was a perfect jewel of a find for a 3 day stay in Santa Barbara. We came for a wedding, and to see Santa Barbara and had a perfect, quiet hideaway. Our room was clean and our host was the best in making our stay relaxing in a home environment, even providing suggestions as what to see, and where to dine while we were vacationing. We would definitely come back to this jewel of a zen hideaway in Santa Barbara!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We didn't do a lot of planning for our "mini-moon" -- the wedding was enough planning for us. But after a cross-country relocation and a busy week of celebrating, a little escape was exactly what we needed. Chris came to the rescue, even on short notice, with this gorgeous, affordable hide-away, tucked in the luscious Santa Barbara gardens we so admire. We took advantage of the amazing mountain-biking in the area (Romero Canyon and a day in the Ojai valley) and tried a number of the restaurants she recommended (Los Agaves was particularly awesome!). We were never disappointed! The room was clean, tasteful and cozy. We enjoyed pre-ride coffees on the patio, and post-ride naps with the screen door open, listening to the breeze rustle the wisteria (which also smelled amazing!!). Sunsets were stunning and we had an amazing view all the way to the ocean. The property itself was highly enviable, in a quiet area with the lovely K9 resident, Sunny, on patrol. It's located away from the main area of Santa Barbara, but as long as you have a car, it is totally fine - we never had trouble getting around or with directions. I would definitely stay here again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Bonus: Chris has a water softener! So you can enjoy spa-like showering. :)Did you find this review helpful? We had a terrific stay. Our room was cozy, but perfect for a couple. Easy access to drive anywhere in SB. The property itself has a gorgeous view of UCSB.The property owner was polite and had good communication with us-having a later arrival time. We will be back to stay again soon!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This beautiful property is located within a residential area of Santa Barbara. Great ocean view and a very well-kept garden. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio to enjoy the evenings. The clean studio with nice furnishing offers everything you need (good selection of TV channels, wireless internet, etc.). The hospitality of the owner was just great. Highly recommended, would always come back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed at the studio this past weekend (11/12/11) and our experience was great! The place is a bit small but it is very cozy and suited our needs just fine. It's not exactly in town but just a short drive away which we didn't mind. If you're a dog lover then you will absolutely love her Lab sunny. She's very friendly and loveable. Over all the place is clean, the location is not the most convenient but works and you really can't beat the great view and price. So I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again. And if anyone out there is seeking some kind of adventure try Eagleparagliding.com. We had a great experience! The instructors are great and it was fun and only a few miles from where we stayed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My wife and I needed an overnight stay on short notice to visit our daughter and we were fortunate that Friday was available. This is a beautiful property and Chris was very pleasant to work with and making arrrangements were simple. We also loved the friendly Lab that greeted us and made us feel welcome. We have our own Lab at home, We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a wonderful relaxing, comfortable, clean rental. Chris was wonderful. Making sure we were satisfied and happy, and comfortable with our accomodations. The perfect host. It was everything we were told it was. The grounds are fabulous also. Lots of plants like you're in the tropics with a plush green lawn. Your own little patio, with a table and chairs to enjoy your evenings outside. So quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of city noise. About 10 -15 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara with a view overlooking the city lights. A little to far to ride a bicycle or to be without a car to get to downtown SB or the beach. But well worth the short drive for the peacefulness and clean comfortable accomodations. We will definitely be back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
